My toshiba big screen tv is shaky and blurry

Go into the tv menu and select the Preferences menu and set your picutre preference from Theater to Normal. The TV is currently in Theater mode, wich is for viewing with no lights on in the room. Switching it to normal lightens the pictue a lot.

It sound like you have a leaky capacitor in your power supply, or video circuit, that is causing noise in the picture. I would have to refer you to a television technician in your area. This would seem like a simple repair. Leaky capacitors can become stable after they warm up.

try the closed caption adjustments. i had a tv that did the same thing and the captiong did it. turn caption off nd try.

It sounds that the TV is having a Convergence Circuit problem or you may CRT Coolant (fluid) on the PCB's. Good Luck, big IRISH........ PS Call for help, by calling a Factory Service Center....get an estimate!!

the hyper module is defective needs to be repaired or replaced.

Corrective Action: Remove the MVUP13 Hyper Module from the TV chassis, remove the top shield and replace the 10uf, 16v capacitors using Part Number 24619040. It’s recommended that all of the capacitors identified be replaced (Note: These capacitors are low impedance surface mounted aluminum electrolytic capacitors. Care should be taken to avoid damaging the PCB while replacing these capacitors.) CAPS: cx178, cx221, cx230, cx241, cx250, cx261, cx270, cx541, cx670 & c514, c5030.

I would check the power supply and the tuner section. This sounds like the low voltage powers supply is going bad or that the tuner section might be going bad. Does the picture fade to snow? Also I would suggest that you let a TV Technician take a look at the TV to determine what is happening. Most likely it is the power supply.

try having other people take a picture with your phone, if they can take a more clear picture, it is likely that you are just a little shaky when taking pictures (i have the same problem)

Convergence IC's should be replaced before any alignment is
attempted ....part # STK392-560....You need two......mount
to large heatsink...............T.

OUR TOSHIBA HAS A DOUBLE VISION/BLURRIE PICTURE. THIS PROBLEM IS ALWAYS THERE. SOMETIMES THE PICTURE IS GREAT, BUT MOST OF THE TIME ITS BLURRIE/DOUBLE. LOOKS AS IF IT ALWAYS ON 3D!! ANY SUGGESTIONS? WE WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP WE CAN GET FROM ANYONE. THANK YOU!
