Sounds to me like the bearings are going bad in the motor. The hotter it gets the grease breaks down and the squealing starts.

At high altitudes all plasma tvs will emit a high pitch noise.
There's nothing you can do about it besides move or get a new tv. Plasmas just do this.

A high pitched humming noise is an indication of a ground loop, or a circuit gone bad in side the TV. I recommend taking it to a repair shop. This isn't something you can fix yourself.

I used a hairdryer and blew hot air into the grill on the bottom of the subwoofer enclosure which reduced the delay time from ~1hr to 5 minutes. (The high pitched noise was still there for about 1-2 minutes)

Depending on the pitch. humming noises are either a motor ie: fan motor or if it is very low a defective capacitor . Since you have the yellow band and the high pitched beep my fist thought is somthing defective in the power supply. Take it to an authorized servicer.

First try moving speakers away from monitor a bit. Some speakers magnets actually reduce the life span off monitor. I hope I am wrong but usually a high pitch whine is the High voltage Transformer. Costs more than the monitor. All you can do is continue use till it goes. Speakers usually deteriorate the tube itself. HVT are just one of those parts that go due to use. save your self the trouble if you have a flat screen TV you can connect to it NOW! if you need a second monitor you can go to a goodwill and buy a monitor under $40.00 I think is a good choice.

Could you specify if noise is coming from : - The freezer - The outside back of the refrigerator - The bottom of the refrigerator
