Wireing ot lights

I just purchased a Heath/Zenith SL-6028-WH. There were not instructions in the box. The remote seems to be working, the light is blinking. The lights have wiring, do I need to wire these to electric?

Yes, you will need to provide a 120 volt outlet. You should be able to download the manual from:

The LED flashes, but the lights won't come on. Do I need to install a light shield. The sensor is mounted in a well shaded area 10 to 12 feet above ground. There are landscape lights beneath the sensor are...

There are settings on the sensor itself. Should be a dusk to dawn setting that will keep it off during those times and then function at night. as far as not working I would first suggest setting the sensitivity. Disrupting to power could have reset this.

Lights flash on/off non-stop, until reset, then does it again. model SL-5408 GR-B

Have you reset the controls on the sensor itself. Suggest you reinstate factory settings and start over.
Hope this helps.

Light does not shut off

I have had a lot of problems with this model of sensor. I bought 6 a few months ago and they all are bad. I have since switch to a different model sl-5315-wh-a and all seems good again. I got them from Lowes. I think that they were around $23 each. I have been using these type sensors on my house for 20 years and have replaced them all at least 2 times.

Hope this helps

Wiring motion sensor for bathroom lights SL-6107-WH need to know what color ires are? BLK,Brn,Red,Grn

OK .. this sounds european .. but as I understand it ,,, the black would be power connection .. the brown would be neutral connection .. and the red would dgo to the light being controlled .. the green always connects to everything metal

If there is no neutral wire in your switch box to connect to ,,. then you will need to get a dimmer that does not require a neutral connection.

The light fixture stopped working.

Try installing a new switch if you haven't already. If you have make sure the wiring is correct and if all seems fine turn the breaker off and make sure its "hard" to reset, if not it's most likely the breaker... Unless you have a rat problem

Heath Zenith Security Light fixture with motion stopped working.

I am in the middle of a discussion with Heath/Zenith over a closely related and perhaps identical issue. I purchased their 5718 model from Home Depot and based on the fact that their brochure stated that "CFL bulbs are only usable on 270 degree units." I purchased the model 5718 unit (270 degree) and used CFL bulbs. It experienced the same problem others noted.

The technician at Heath/Zenith told me that only DIMMABLE CFL bulbs would work with this unit (even if the DualBrite feature is turned off). Standard CFL bulbs will not work.

Their brochure does not make that clear. Perhaps that is the answer to others' problems.
