CWTF15 WILL NOT STOP WATER FLOW WHEN POT IS MADE.

The coffee dispensing valve is stuck open. It may be due to Calcium deposits.
Descale the machine or manually clean the dispensing valve and the diffuser disc that unscrews to be removed. This diffuser is visible just above the coffee pot.

Need lid for starbucks barista aroma grande 12 cup carafe.

The exact same lid is on the Wolfgang Puck WPTPCM010 coffee maker. (It's exactly like the Starbucks one - same size & fit.) Call (800) 275-8273 and order part # WPTPCM010-6; the product description is "LID FOR CARAFE". It will cost you $4.99 + 5.00 shipping. My Starbucks coffee pot works PERFECTLY again. Just make sure that you put the lid on the carafe correctly before you use it, since the seal is new.

My Pot wont brew

mcdevito75 here, Your Mr. Coffee may need cleaning, here"s how, Fill the resovoir with white vinegar, cycle thru the machine 3 times, half way thru the 3rd time stop 1/2 way thru and turn off machine for 30 minutes, then recycle. After that rinse your Mr, Coffeee by cycleing thru fresh water each cycle takes another resovoir of fresh water to get rid of the vinegar. If this is not the problem, maybe the pump is shot. Contact Mr. Coffee by phone or online at Mr. Coffee.com or replace the machine.

Inside of carafe changing color -- is it still safe to use? (have been using it for 6 years)

The owners manual with our "12 cup Barista aroma grande" recommends cleaning the unit with a cleaner / descaler that you can buy at Starbucks, or 6 cups of a 50-50 vinegar-water solution, or 6 cups of a 50-50 lemon juice (no pulp!)-water solution. You have to then run a whole pot full of water through to rinse the unit. My wife cleans it once or twice a year with the Starbucks cleaner, and the staining comes off the inside of the pot (you may have to do it more than once with a 6-year deposit). The coffee also tastes better afterwards - less heavy and oily, more crisp and flavorful.

I have a cuisinart 12 cup thermal, it turns on as if it was going to make coffee (lights only) but no water runs through the pot. Grinder still works. Any help arreciated.

The water line may be clogged from calcification. Or the water pump may be going bad. If it is still under warranty, check with Cuisinart.

Brews very slowly

If you ever had coffee ground spill over the top of the basket and into the water reservoir then you may have gotten grounds into the pump valve. That would cause it to pump water slowly or not at all. Before you take the machine apart to clean out the hose and pump try flushing it out. I used a turkey baster full of water and stuck the tip into the hole at the bottom of the reservoir that leads to the pump and heater. Forcefully squeeze the baster which will flush water and hopefully the coffee grounds through the pump and out into the pot.

After filling my Mr. Coffee to the 12 cups limit, turning on the machine...2 1/2 cups of water do not make it to the pot. There is NO water on the counter but the poor thing is steaming like a locomotive...

Hi, My husband found the problem and fixed it. Something had fallen into the water reservoir and was small enough to block the pump. My husband extracted it, now all is well. the Coffee Maker is fine now.
sincerely,

Water heats up but is not delivered to basket

This may not help but doesn't cost much to try-

Make sure all water is out of the tank and dump a cup of cheap vinegar into the tank, turn it on until you hear some activity and then turn it off and ignore it overnight.
Turn it on in the morning and let the vinegar pump (hopefully) through and then run a pot or two of water before you try to make coffee.

There is a crappy plastic-body & ball valve in the line that is the first victim of lime deposits.
Once that little valve is stuck, it won't pump.

Plan on getting another coffeemaker in 3 or so years when another non-user replaceable part, the bimetallic thermal switch gets tired and it then takes a hour or more to make a pot of coffee.
