Oxc000000f error screen when starting up computer

See this post in Windows forum for a fix, you will need to get a cd drive working on the computer by plugging in an external drive via usb. This requires having access to another computer to download the disk and save it on a CD.

Hi, either you have to repair your windows via Windows Startup repair or you have to boot a fresh copy of windows. For this, you have to download the latest version of Windows OS and read this guide for windows error solution.

First download the recovery cd from here.
Second Burn it to CD
Then turn off your computer,then after that, turn on again your computer and while the screen is blank, just keep tapping F8 key until you will see the advanced boot options,select your CD ROM.After that, click repair computer, after you click that windows will load you will then choose the US as keyboard layout just follow the on-screen instruction,if you will see like "choose an recovery option", just choose start-up repair and then your computer will begin the start-up repair
Hope will work, but if nothing happens you need to reinstall the Operating System of your computer.

I will assume that the that the computer is not booting. The error you describe is a boot sector error. i would recommend to boot the computer from DVD and wipe the hard drive and reinstall the operating system. If you not the techie type take the computer to a technician.

Your best choice is to contact Toshiba, since your laptop is brand new. Let them help you and document the problem, in case their solution doesn't work and you need to return the system. Assuming that It was tested before shipping, it could be a hardware problem. Hope this helps. Plz let me know.
