sounds like your screen has a bunch of dead pixles on it unless your under warrenty you will pretty much have to purchase another but before you come to this decision make shure and look at you cable on your connection make sure there are no bent or missing pins and that it is secure and the the video card is secure

My LG w2452t monitor won't turn on and the power light is flashing blue and orange. How can i get it to turn on?

I had the following symptom: No power on, or only sporadic power on, power-on light blinking, etc.
Problem was: Capacitor C202 & C203 (both 1000 uF, 16V) on the PS board had lost capacity, tested only approx 45 uF. Replaced, everything works fine now! Cost: 20 cent.

Hi, the Power Saving Mode, turns the screen off to conserve energy. On the remote, press Menu, and scan to Power Saving Mode. You can change the amount of time, when the Screen turn-off, the TV shut-off etc. You can set the time to (5 min) to, (never, turn-off). This should help with your problem. Thanks paul7of9

LG 1750s monitor goes into power saver mode in 5-10 min

change the setting in the screen saver option (Power)
or look in Power in control panel...also check the hybernation time

Screen dead was working OK went out came back 15 min later screen black I thought it was hibernating but just stayed black when hit keys, restarted nothing turned power off to monitor turned back on got lg...

since it's only 3weeks old as long as you have the receipt take it back .

check the memory IC, Horizontal-vertical IC then check the processor voltage are the stable & is it support the refresh rate. at last check the EHT transformer, may be your processor controlled through it or it loses the flyback voltage .
