Whenever I log-on to xbox live it stays on for like 5 minutes and then it just disconnects. I am confused because this never happened before. Can someone tell me what the problem might be because im really bored with playing alone...O and I use the wireless router from the original xbox not the xbox 360 one. Please Help Me!

If this is the case, you may have broken your xbox live policy terms, most of times you will be kicked off xbox live perminately if you: flash mod your xbox, in other words, modified your console's software illegally, illegally downloaded xbox games, stole xbox games, generated your xbox live game codes, used inappropriate language on live chat, went to illegal sites on explorer browser, or hacked your xbox. Xbox live will cancel your subscriptions, if any of these policy breakers have been introduced and detected by the xbox live system.
I keep getting disconnected fro xbox live. this has been a problem since I first got xbox live, it takes 30 minutes or something like that and then its disconnects me, for example if im playing call of duty multiplayer it will take me out of the the game. I have a xbox router thingy that is plugged into the back of my xbox and wireless box thing. could I have a easy simple question to get rid of this problem thank you
as you may already know its probably not your router... check and make sure you have all the XBOX live updates on your 360... the link below should get you started.
It is a conflict with your router and modem. If you have a WRT54G linksys router and a Ae60 modem then this conflict will happen. To stop it, buy a new modem or router OR connect to XBox LIVE wirelessly using the XBox 360 wireless adapter ($100).
it a problem with your internet provider i had the same prolem all i did was call them and tell them your being disconnected and the hsould be able to start you up again also tell them if you have a rrouter connnected as well
you will have to set ftp up m8 you need ip of the xbox and fast transfer protocol program transfer as data or image theese files need to be made to image using ultra iso on pc first all xbox uses is linex
Same prob - previous played lots of XBL Halo with no probs.
Now get booted out of a game after about 10 minutes.
Able to reconnect within about 2 minutes sometimes.
