I replaced the mother board about a year ago and everything was working fine until recently I changed my filter. 2 days later the water dispenser stopped working but everything else, crushed ice and cubes are working fine. I checked the line tap in the basement and that seems fine also. Suggestions?
Solenoid or the dispenser switch.
The water supply line connects to a water valve on the Ref. this water valve has two solenoids, one for the ice maker and one for the water in the door. Check this solenoid with an OHM meter.
The dispenser switch should send 110 volts to the solenoid. Check at the solenoid while pushing the water switch in the door.
I'm think'n the dispenser switch.

One thing I forgot to mention is that the light switch on the door isn't working either. When you put a galss in for ice, crushed ice or water the light does come on and go off but it won't come on with the switch.
I am having a similar problem. The difference is that my fridge is not making any ice at all, at least it is not dropping out when we push the lever with the glass. The water works, but only when I take the light bulb out. I have the exact same model GSL25JFRFBS. Any Suggestions?
