Did you get helped last year? If so please ignore. Otherwise....

Hi. You can locate a Sunbeam Service Centre via http://www.sunbeam.com.au/Pages/Support/Repairers.aspx

You're looking at $69,95 recommended retail.

BTW have you checked that it's not the blanket? Swap the controls over, if the problem follows the control it's the control. If the problem stays on the same side of the blanket, it's the blanket.

Also note Sunbeam has a 3 year warranty on electric blankets. If Date Of Purchase is less than 3 years ago call 1800025059 option 1 to speak to their Customer Service,

SOURCE: electric sunbeam fire place not

Is the blower fan working and its not heating or blower fan is working but still not heating. It can be faulty blower fan or faulty heating element. Also check the thermostat if both fan and heating element checked ok. It is really easy to change it, unscrew the four small screws at the top cover and replace the thermostat. If blower fan is running,if heating element is checked ok and its not burnt in between or got cracked and thermostat looks fine, then the thermal fuse in the fire place needs to be checked. if you take off the top of the fireplace you will find a little metal tube in front of the blower. This is the thermal fuse if it has gone out only your fan will blow and the heating element will not put out heat. You can pick one of the fuses up at radio shack for 3 dollars. the only problem is how to go about repacing it since it is crimped in and you can't use a soldering iron because it will trip it.So the procedure to replace the thermal fuse is ,---- To crimp in the thermal fuse on the fireplace, you can take and clip the lead of the old fuse and then crimp down the left over old clip and then bend upward and use a electrical wire splice uninsulated to crimp on to it and then crimp in the fuse. You then can use the 1/4" male tab where the wire is attached and remove and put a female to 2 male 1/4" connector on it and put a 1/4" female on the fuse and put it all together. This will require no heat and it will still be safe.------------- This are the possibilities, that are to be checked. This troubleshooting will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

SOURCE: My Sunbeam RN17280 dual control heating blanket

I got mine for Christmas (2010)... Worked fine the first week or two... Then I noticed that it doesn't get hot at all anymore... Thought maybe my husbands side controlled both (like a master safety)... Since he sets it at 3... Mine is set on 'high'... But no, put his on high, it gets super hot, my side barely warm.
