A blue semi-circular hue on the bottom left of the screen

The hue appears on most viewing unless the area
is showing a blue color then it isn't visible. the semi-circle also seems to be getting bigger at a slow rate.

9 times out of 10 the Blue Polarizer heats up and discolors which causes that problem, all projector's have the same issue and have for years. My professional recommendation is get in touch with Sony, they have been extending the warranty's for this issue. If they won't the have a servicer replace the light engine of which is not cheap.

    • 3 Take a sheet of paper and place in the top left corner of the glass surface of the Bizhub. You will see that the area is marked "Sample Area" alongside the glass area. Press the "Start" button on top of the Bizhub.
    • 4 Wait for the Bizhub to produce a sample sheet. Look at the finished sample sheet -- there are six options showing three incremental "plus" hue options and the three incremental "negative" hue options. Select the one you like and press to confirm the required hue adjustment on the "Hue" screen. You have now calibrated your colors as desired.

There is too much blue on the screen & not enough green coloring

Have a very close look at the blue and see if it's perfectly uniform across the whole screen.
If it is then altering the hue or colour temperature settings in the menu may help.
If it's not then either there are heaps of pixel failures (appearing as small rectangular spots) or degradation of the polarisers (green may be affected more than the others).
If you show the menu, do the white areas appear bluish.
If the lamp is very old then colour changes start to happen.

Sony KP-53HS30 Projection TV has pink and blue hue w/timer blink

Depending on your TV, you may have a Color Temperature (Color Temp) and/or Hue setting in the menu. Use these options to adjust the picture to the setting that best suits your viewing preference.
If your TV has a Color Temp setting, you will normally have the following options to select from:
  • Cool: Gives the picture a cooler, slightly bluish appearance.
  • Neutral: Gives the picture a neutral, more natural look and appearance.
  • Warm: Gives the picture a warmer, slightly reddish appearance.
If your TV has a Hue setting, follow the appropriate step below to make adjustments:
  1. Move the setting to the right to reduce the reddish appearance.
  2. Move the setting to the left to reduce the greenish appearance.

Yellow area on screen

either burn in or magnetic field interference. I suggest moving any speakers away from the tv. if thats not the case, then find a strong magnet, make sweeping motions across the screen with it but dont touch the screen! Keep doing this until the colors change, then "sweep" them with the magnet into a corner and they will mostly dissapea.......r, sounds complicated but worked for me. can be scary so dont try unless sickly despearate or confident.   Hope This helps!

A blue hue

If color correcting does not fix the problem you will probably need some professional equipment in order to fix it. It would probably be best to contact a professional service provider.
