Southbridge chip,

You need the Audio (Sound) Driver.
Driver: Small piece of software that allows the Operating System to communicate with a device.
The device is the audio chipset; do not know what Windows operating system you are using.
What I need is the motherboard manufacturer name, and model number;
OR,
Computer manufacturer name and model number.
This is on the back of a desktop computer, usually close to the Windows product key; or up on the side of the computer tower.
Is it an Intel D945G something motherboard?
Intel D945GCCR, or D945GCR, or D945GCZ, or along those lines?
If you cannot find the info, then what is the audio (Sound) chipset on the motherboard?
Creative? Realtek? Conexant?
Also what is the number with it?
Example; Creative CT5807
Also what Operating System are you using? What version of Windows?
Post back in a Comment.
