Pairing a samsung wep200 headset to a samsung blackjack

I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong, but I cannot get my samsung wep200 headset to pair with my blackjack. I will admit that I have lost the headset manual. I thought I could just go to the blue tooth menu, in the phone and have it find my headset, but it will not. Please provide instructions on how to make my headset work with my phone.

ID's proper WEP200, but will not pair with the phone?I've had the phone for less than 5 weeks and I experience problems withthe blue-thooth head set for 3 of the weeks. The phone is an CDM-1450by UT STARCOM.

I had to put my Nokia E62 in Pairing Mode and then manually searched for the headset to make it work.

Great solution. I threw away my instructions. The key is the 0000 pass key!

I just got it tonight so I have the manual. Turn the headset off and then hold down the button for around 8 seconds or until the light stays on. If your phone's bluetooth is on and set to "Visible" the phone should request the PIN for the headset(0000). Enter 0000 and you will be done. Unfortunately, those instructions didn't work for me. I put it in Pairing Mode and then manually searched for the headset.

I need instructions on how to pair my WEP200 to my new cell phone please.

1 Turn your bluetooth headset off. If it is on, press and hold multi-function button(for about 4 seconds) until the LED blinks twice. 2 Prepare your bluetooth enabled phone to be ready to go to search mode. 3 Turn your bluetooth headset on in pairing mode. (Press and hold the multi-function button for almost 9 seconds. The LED will be steadily LIT.) 4 Activate the Search option in your phone. You should see Samsung WEP200 in your phone's screen. Choose that and press OK 5 The phone will ask for a passkey. Press 0000. Then press OK. Give it a few seconds, your phone and bluetooth headset will be paired.

How do put Samsung WEP200 into pairing mode?

Starting with it turned off, press and hold the Multi-Function Button for some 8 seconds, until the indicator light is steadily lit in blue, thus indicating it is in pairing mode. Only then, make the device you want to pair your headset to search for new devices. After a while, the WEP200 should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is successful, your headset will enter the stand-by mode. There might be an indication on the other device that it is connected to a bluetooth headset too. Once they are paired to each other, all subsequent connections between them should be achieved simply by bringing they both within each other's range (with their bluetooth radios turned off, of course).
By the way, if your headseet's user guide happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location.

Not working with Samsung U600

YOu will have to put the headset in pairing mode by keeping the power button pressed till the light becomes solid blue instead of blinking. Now switch on the blue tooth of your mobile and try pairing,. it should work. passcode will be 0000

New WEP200 Headset does not work

when you turn on the WEP200, you must continue to hold the button down until the blue light goes solid, that indicates pairing mode. Now, have your device search for it.
