Start jumping. When you land, your left heel
should hit the floor when you land on your right foot and then your right heel
should touch the floor when your left foot lands. Keep alternating according to this pattern.

Yes it is! Jump rope is considered a low level plyometric exercise, a low impact exercise. High level plyometric exercises are bad for weak knees. You should always be careful though. Try to land on the balls of your feet and not the heels and make sure to keep your knees lax. It is always a good idea to consult with your athlete/physiotherapist/trainer.
