Blue Star HFBLU - 1K NOT Charging : I followed the included instuctions to charge this BRAND NEW device but nothing is working and it doesn't charge at all. If I open the charging case and wiggl

Charging case seems to not be working. Can not charge bluetooth device. Opening the plugged in charger and holding the device down occasionally produces a faint red light. Holding the device down in the charger by the button, causes device to flash between bright red and bright blue. Not sure I can sit and hold device for 2 hours to charge it. SO far, not impressed with product. I have tried wiping charging contact with a clean/dry cloth. Any solutions?

the problem seems to be the charging box. if the red light goes off relatively quickly after you place the bluetooth in the box then it is not gaining a charge. you have a warranty with this item that you can claim by following the instructions on the warranty card provided in the package.

It sounds like a defective unit, although I am not familiar with that model... If both charging methods don't work, I would recommend a manufacturer replacement.

Not to worry most blue tooth manufactures use a factory 4 digit pin pairing code,they are as follows 0000,1234,1111,or 9999 .glad to be of assistance

That usually means it isin pairing mode. Charging some headsets from extended periods can sometimes reset the device requiring you to pair the device again.

Hi

These instructions should work for pairing your bluetooth device

1. First turn OFF the Bluetooth Headset
2. Place the Headset within a distance of 1 Foot of your phone.
3. Hold down the power key for about 8 seconds until indicator light blinks and starts to alternate between red and blue. This shows it is in pairing mode
4. Set your phone to search for a bluetooth device.
5. Select HFBLU-1K in the bluetooth device list and if required enter the password 1234

Can the hfblu-1k be reset?

you do not have to reset it to pair it with another device. you simply have to put the earpiece into pairing mode again as you did with the first phone and follow the same steps you used initially to pair it to the device that broke.

Over the ear piece broken on my hfblu-1k cellular

You can get replacements by calling 1-732-912-2000 and follow the directions on the menu. Listen to the choices and you should be good to go. Ask for Tech Support # 216.
