Trouble with HP Business InkJet 1000

Hello!
My printer HP Business InkJet 1000 don't print anymore and the message is "some covers are open", but I checked and this is not true.
What should I do?

    Same here. As soon as printer is switched on, power light flashes and resume light is on. Troubleshooter suggests "cover may be open" but they are not. Tried unplugging, reinstalling etc but as soon as I power up, the same lights are on.

Ur check all the sensor one bye one indivisual in dislpay scareen error code are different .mpost probablity this error front cover.

You need to view the print que and cancel all prints.

Do the following:

1.) Navigate to windows control panel and double click Printers and Faxes.
2.) Now double click on your Hp Business inkjet 1000 Printer it should come up with the que.
3.) Click Printer and then click Cancel all documents. That is the Printer tab on the top left of the box.

That should cancel the documents in the print que and you printer should be able to rest now.

EZ steps to install HP printer in Windows 7 without Installation software

  1. Make sure that the USB cable is not connected to the product. If the USB cable is connected to the product, disconnect it.
  2. From the Windows taskbar, click the Windows icon, and then click Devices and Printers. The Devices and Printers window opens.
  3. Click Add a printer. The Add Printer window opens.
  4. Click Add a local printer.
  5. Click Use an existing port.
  6. Click the Use an existing port drop-down list, select LPT1: (Printer Port), and then click Next.
  7. Under Manufacturer in the Install the printer driver window, click HP.
  8. Under Printers, select approriate drive from below list provided and then click Next.
  9. In the message window, click Finished.
  10. Connect the USB cable to the product, and connect the USB cable to the computer. A Device driver software was not successfully installed window opens.
  11. Click Close to close the window.
  12. In the Devices and Printers window, right-click the name of the product and then click Printer Properties. The Printer Properties window opens.
  13. Click the Ports tab.
  14. Click the drop down menu, and then change the port from LPT1 to USB or DOT4.
  15. Click OK.
  16. In the Properties dialog box, click the General tab.
  17. Click Print Test Page.

In hp business inkjet 1000 1st page comes blank & then its printing from 2nd page in vista i am facing this problem.

give print ... select your printer .... then go to preference it will open another window ...then go to .color tab ....select print in gray scale ......

Printer says "out of black ink", I replaced, still won't print.

are you sure it is a fresh cartridge? or a refilled one? because if its a refilled one it is normal that it will show that message "low on ink" but you can continue printing if your sure that it is properly refilled

SORRY PRINTER LOSS

I have this problem too and I have found that opening the covers and closing them sharply often helps (occasionally I also have to lift the front of the printer a cm or two (say one inch) and drop it. Usually seems to work as a temporary fix at least.

I suspect a sensor is sticking somewhere.

If the printer is new, then maybe the printer catridge nozzle seals have not been removed and so the catridges are not being detected.

If it has been working before and then the problem starts, look at which light is blinking  because the paper and catridge lights are different. So check wich light is on and get to me for further instructions.
