I am gonna figure that you verified that all your powers and grounds are good ... but you didn\'t really give much info ... does it not turn over at all, or does it turn over but won\'t start??
You don't say what engine type you have, but most came with a 4 cyl DOHC engine. Did this problem come on suddenly? Does the vehicle have more than 60K miles on it? If so, a first guess might be that your timing belt has stripped a tooth and jumped time. This would mess up compression and starting. It could also have added problem of bending valves if the timing has shifted too much. Without more info, I cannot venture any further guesses.
When you removed the alarm unit you cut the line to the Starter kill switch that was installed. Remove the starter kill switch which is most likely located under the dash spliced into the ignition wiring harness.
Can you get us a Model # for the alarm system??
