It sounds like a corrupted upload. Reset the unit and retry the upload.

Usually reset is done by pushing page and enter while powering up

Sorry for late reply. You need to select an area on your topo map prior to downloading it. For example, if you plan to go to Algonquin Bice Lake (access point 4), then you need to select the map around the area (starting from) Kearney upto the Magnetawan Lake and beyond. Mark waypoints from the put-in to the campsite on Bice Lake (best to compare of the topo and Algonquin canoeing map). Then you can click Transfer, click Send to Device (GPS 76cs should appear) to download it. On the GPS, enter the Find Waypoint button and you should be able to see those waypoints. i have garmin gps 76 csx but i dont have its sofware with me and i want to transfer all the data and save it on my pc.

but as i dont have the cd with me i am in problem so plz solve or give the solution

the camera cant open from starting

please verify if firmware of your receiver is up to date.

the newest version of GPSMAP 76CSx is Ver. 3.60, realised on Feb 18, 2008

if not, make upgrade either by WebUpdater application or download it direct from www.garmin.com
