ATI RADEON x1650 PRO 512 Crash...

I just bought n try it for the first time n in my monitor there is a few green dots that blinking from the bios until my windows start after installing the driver n play a game after a few minutes my com crash. My monitor get turned off n my keyboard not function.Then i must hard reset my com to use it again.

My Specifications:
OS: Windows XP SP2
MotherBoard : Abit IB9
Ram : 3 Gb
PSU : AcBel 550 watt
Processor : Genuine Intel CPU 2160 @ 1.80GHz

Sometimes i'm not play game but it's still crash. :(

Their is a reason that it crashes and it is not because of the game if  it crashes at other times too. Toom much HEAT is usually the problem. Look for slow or stopped fans. Dust on the heatsink.Run the antivirus. After that clean and defrag the hard drive. Let me knw that that did not take care of the problem.

Hi,

Please check the VGA cable properly its working fine if any brokage then replace with goods one,if still same situation then your display setting has been changed from operating system .go to desktop /right click/properties/setting/advanced/select graphics card/graphics properties/color correction/and select all adnd apply it.

Can i run ati radeon x1650 512 on asus k8N motherboard

Yes you can run the AGP version of the Radeon 1650 pro on your system. It is always best & recommended to upgrade memory in pairs. You could upgrade to `gb by purchasing a 1 gb kit which would be 512 x 2. That way you have a matching pair of RAM modules. As for a cpu upgrade you can go to the Asus website and see what cpu's are supported by your motherboard. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.

How to enable Crossfire with my two ati radeon x1650 graphic card

You need two pci-e slots. Put the cards in the slots. The cards connect with a crossfire bridge. Then just plug your monitor in and your ready to go. Make sure that you have the software installed and that your chipset supports crossfire. For more info click here.

ATI x1650 Pro Stops!?

the card you have is a PCI express 16X your board is for PCI express 8X. I think some cards can run at a slower speed but I believe you have the wrong card for your board
