Down loading music on samsung

no software is required to load music. just buy a memory card and a card reader. insert the memory card in reader and plug into the USB port on the pc. load music by sending it to the removable disc.

What are the other options on your phone aside from the pc suite? Is there a 'mass storage device' option? If yes, you may try that. If it still doesn't recognize phone, try a card reader and take off the memory card so you can still load music and other files on to your phone..

Take out the memory card from your camera by pushing it out.. Put this memory card into the card reader of your PC. Now you can transfer your files to your pc without using data cable.

when u connect ur fone, a memory card ll appear in MY COMPUTER
if it does not try installing the cd u got
otherwise some driver problem

just get the software from the internet and the usb cable, or if u hav a memory card on usb mode (in phone settings) go on mass storage, and connect ur usb and it shud work if dat dunt work get a memory card adapter and conect it 2 ur laptop and send it 2 it hope this helps.

what are you trying to use the data cable for? updates or loading music and pictures?
For updates you must go to the settings in your phone and where it says USB settings select data connection.
For loading music or pictures, in the same menu select memory card.
If you are trying to load the updates from motorola's website, sometimes it seems as though it is not connected, but as long as the phone icon shows it is connected. Just keep connecting and disconnecting the phone until it works properly... I had this problem when loading updates but I eventually got it to work.

I had a the same problem, with my computer not reading the SD card when the phone was connected to the computer. However, after messing with my phone for a while, I believe I've found the solution. On the phone menu, go to;
"Settings"
then, "Set Phone"
then, "Select USB Mode"
and finally, "Mass Storage"

Your computer should now read the data off the SD card, as if it were a drive. I don't think the "PC Studio" program will recognize the phone after this, but you can always manually copy music into the folders on the card now.

you need to install memory card in phone then attach a data cable specfically for your phone (available at cell phone dealer) into phone and the other end to the usb of the pc if our phone came with software load it on pc then use the software to transfer the music files from your pc to your phone.

The max allowed limit (supposedly) for an SD mini card for a D600 is 1gb. Have you formatted your card? If so and you're still having this problem, the 2gb probably won't work.

What you have to do to put files on your computer or take them from your computer onto your phone is: go onto settings, onto phone settings, onto USB settings and chage it to either mass storage (if you want to put pictures, music and videos on) or media player (to just transfer music). Then plug in the USB cable that came with your phone into your computer/laptop and follow the instructions from there.
NOTE: This only works with the Sampsung G600
