You can try to open your computer then remove the RAM then use a pencil with eraser to clean the gold teeth and then put the RAM back and test it out.

SOURCE: Acer desktop mouse, keyboard not functioning, monitor also not wor

If there is no display on the monitor, then your computer is not sending a video signal to the monitor.
This could be caused by a bad video card or some other hardware problem. I would open the case and disconnect all the devices (hard drive, CD, etc. Leave only the CPU, memory, and video connected. You could leave the keyboard and mouse connected too.
If your computer then starts, you can start to add devices (after turning the computer off) one at a time.
If this doesn't work, then you are looking at replacing the motherboard or just the video card if that is possible.

SOURCE: 3 medium beeps on pc; repeating

According to Systemax, the problem is solved by removing the video card, then the RAM, followed by installing the RAM in the first slots (0 & 1) then reinstalling the video card.
They say the components are too close together and can be slightly off-set if not installed in that order.
Good luck.
The only other idea is the BIOS battery is dead.

2 Short Beeps Your computer has memory problems. First check video. If video is working, you'll see an error message. If not, you have a parity error in your first 64K of memory. First check your SIMM's. Reseat them and reboot. If this doesn't do it, the memory chips may be bad. You can try switching the first and second banks memory chips. First banks are the memory banks that your CPU finds its first 64K of base memory in. You'll need to consult your manual to see which bank is first. If all your memory tests good, you probably need to buy another motherboard. 3 Short Beeps Basically the same thing as 2 beeps. Follow that diagnosis above. 4 Short Beeps Basically the same thing as 2 beeps. Follow that diagnosis above. It could also be a bad timer

1 long, 1 short beep : System board problem

The beeps are post during post the very first work is done by the RAM , all the memory in the RAM is first transferred to the hard disk, and remains active untill turned off.

My computer beeps when I start it up how do I stop it

The beeps you hear are BIOS Beep Codes. The computer's method of telling you something is wrong, and an area to look into for it.

It is a pattern. A series of beeps, then a pause, then a repeat.
It is a Code.

Listen to the beep code. Post it back in a Comment.

THE RED LIGHT IS ON AND BEEPS EVERY MINUTE

What motherboard do you have? If you don't know, provice make and model of your system and maybe we can find out that way. Is it one long beep? Are there any other beeps and/or a sequence. A good place to start and alot of times, depending on your bios, 1 to 3 beeps means a problem with the RAM(memory). If you have more than 1 stick, you can pull them out, restart and if the beep is the same, you've probably found your culprit. You can then insert one at a time in one of your slots, then restart. If this works, you've found a good stick. If not, try another slot and restart, etc. Try all sticks in all slots.

How can i fix my IBM ThinkPad T22 2647. it produce 3 simultaniuos beep sounds lcd is black out.

This is a list of ThinkPad Beep codes.
It appears you have a memory or motherboard problem, most likely a RAM problem. Try reseating the RAM modules, if this doesn't work, then remove the RAM and take them to your friendly computer repair shop to get them to test the RAM modules for you. If the RAM is faulty them replace.

When I go to turn on the computer, it just makes a beeping sound.

Beeping sound leting you something is wrong with some hardware. As for what,, listin to the beeps.. also depends on motherboard... here is a link http://www.pchell.com/hardware/beepcodes.shtml

But best way is to open up machine and make sure all the hardware is hooked up tight. If that does work look at the code list then go from there.
