I brought one motorola H700 bluetooth headset to use with my Moto KRZR mobile. (I have another mobile Moto RAZR too). First I connected to KRZR successfully, used for couple of days without any problem. Later I tried to connect other phone RAZR, somehow it didn't worked.
Now I tried to connect it back to my KRZR, but no success. My mobile is able to detect the headset, while seeking its showing message 'Motorola H700 Service not supported'. I tried restarting my mobile, remove-insert battery, clear device history, re-charge bluetooth, all sort of things..but no success. one more thing is when it got connected for for first time successfully, in my phone its used to show the standard bluetooth icon next to H700. But now its showing some wierd icon and while seeking i am getting 'service not supported' message..any ideas? thanks for any help.
I have the same problem. The thing is that my krzr does find the devise but when the phone trys to connect to the devise it shows a message that saids that the "service is not supported" Ive had the exact same product before and worked great but with this new one i bought the are a lot of problems.I have the same problem. I was able to pair my H700 with my sony ericsson phone, i have disabled it and now am trying to pair my H700 with the Nokia N77 for some reason, my bluetooth headset doesn't go into the pairing mode (meaning the steady purple light goes off whenever i flip the boom) thus bonding has been unsuccessful... I connected my H700C to my Treo 650. Then I tried to connect it to my Samsung 540. It worked but when I tried to use it again with my Treo it wouldn't work with either phone.
After using your solution described here I was able to get the headset working with the Treo again.

Re: H700 unable to pair up 'service not supported'
I bouth motorola H700 bluetooth headset to use with my Razor (3rv) and I have followed all the rules of my razor to connect with my bluetooth. My Razor does recognize my bluetooth and the screen show that I am sucessfully linked together. However when I close my phone or anytime there after--open my bluetooth place on my ear and open my Razor to make a phone call my bluetooth is not connected. It will not make a call or let me hear dialing of numbers or anthing.
I know that my bluetooth works, i just lost the directions on how to link it with my new razor. it was linked to my old razor, but i lost it and ever since I have had this new phone it does not work together. can you help me. I spent a lot of money on my bluetooth for it to just go to waste.
Re: H700 unable to pair up 'service not supported'
Previously connected, but fails to send/response eventhough Bluetooth says it is. Putting the H700 on the charger, seems to reset the H700 to get it ready to pairing. After reseting Razor phone which H700 is on charger did the trick. Use the same technique that other used to hold the talk button while boom is closed and flip open holding talk button down. Run through the menus to bond.
Re: H700 unable to pair up 'service not supported'
I have had the same problem. The first time, everything worked fine. I used the bt for a few days and after charging it, the phone will no longer connect. I have gotten 2 new phones through Verizon and a new headset through that dealer. Verizon is now telling me that they are going to check the 'network switch' -on the cell phone towers etc. to see if it is a network problem, bc they are thinking it's not an earpiece or handset problem (since they've both been replaced. I'll let you know what the result is.
Re: H700 unable to pair up 'service not supported'
The term "service" refers to other types of services supported by bluetooth technology like keyboards, mice, etc. There's a lot more than just headsets now.
I suggest checking the bluetooth options on your phone to see if there is a refresh service or other option....there is one like that on my blackberry that I once had to use to solve a similar issue.
Have you tried disabling bluetooth, rebooting phone, enabling bluetooth, and rebooting phone before pairing?
Also, look to see if there is an encryption on/off option on the phone...this could be causing an echo in either state due to interference...try switching encryption on/off.
Also, check your update options on the phone, you didn't say which kind of phone it is but some can get firmware updates that may be needed for bluetooth to work well.
Finally, you may get results by deleting the device on the phone and re-adding it thru discovery.

If tv is bluetooth capable, look under menus and pair with H700.
Phones if initially paired will simply need to have bluetooth 'active' (as by default it is usually off). - If not pair - you will need to go through menus under 'settings' to pair with the H700 (also at this point indicate that the H700 is 'trusted device').
The Motorola H700 has Bluetooth v1.2 which is backward compatible with v1.1. The headset works with both Hands-free and Headset profiles and is easy to pair with devices running various operating systems and software. We tested the headset with the Motorola SLVR, Palm Treo 650, the Nokia 9500, the Cingular 8125 and the Cingular 2125, and the headset paired with all devices with ease. To pair the Motorola, turn off the headset first then hold the Call button until the LED ring turns purple, quickly open the boom so that the LED stays solid purple, the headset is now in pairing mode. Use your mobile phone to discover and pair with the headset using “0000” as the default pass code. Call handling between the phone and the headset transferred smoothly and the headset will play notification or a ring tone when a call comes in. When working with the Treo 650, the H700 has an uncomfortably long delay in notifying an incoming call. It starts to ring after the Treo 650 has already ringed 2-3 times. The connection between the phone and the headset is solid. When we paired the Treo 650 to both the Motorola H700 and the Parrot 322 car kit, we can pick up calls on either one and the Motorola H700 worked reliably in this set up. Hope I helpedDr Reed
first u have to check ur device support bluetooth and on uf device bluetooth on ur bluetooth device also and find device and it will show moto 700 then pair it u have to enter passcode and ur done passcode is 0000
Some times the BlueTooth feature is not turned on (activated) on the phones when the come back from the shop or on refurbished units. Make sure that this feature is activated on your phone.
Push and hold both vol(+) and vol (-) at the same time for approx 2 secs. The headset will falsh green and red lights. Get your phone to search for bluetooth devices. It should find the headset. Enter pairing code 1234 in phone. Done
