Wolf Range WKGD-2 Gas Double Oven Logo

Help! I have a double gas oven 48" and the door on the right side doesn't close all the way. It kind of "bounces" when you close it, and what you are left with is a small gap where heat seaps ou

I can't find the model number for this, but it is a non-self cleaning oven with the griddle in the middle and 6 total burners.

I think my husband fixed it. We purchased a new spring for the door and it seems to have fixed it :) Happy New Year!

SOURCE: we have an old wolf

Hi

The issue can either be a bad electronic control/clock assembly or the oven temperature sensor (probe) has gone bad. To solve this issue start by checking the oven temp. sensor for 1100 ohms, if the rating is more then that then check the control and door switch and replace the part that is bad. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

How do i set the clock on Whirlpool built in double oven? Can't find a model number. 5 buttons from left to right. Alarm bell, clock with hand at 12, clock with hand at 3, + and - signs. Pleas

The model number is usually located on the side of the door or on side of the oven cavity area near the door opening. Sometimes if you have a drawer or warmer the model number is located on the oven side of the drawer or warmer (sometimes not directly facing you but on the side of that area. If the oven is electronic you press a clock button or you hold one of those buttons for a couple of seconds like a start or set button. The model number though will help you find a user manual and it for sure should be clear. I hope this helps you.

My JenAir oven door doesn't close fully

most likely you have bad door hinges if the door doesn't close correctly,i don't know if you know this but alot of parts are no loner available for this model,it must be old,the only thing you can get for the door is the hinges and that's it,you'll need the rest of the model number to get the right hinges you're missing the last two letters, you can go here put your model number in to look up parts.

go to door and look at part 16 the hinge, hope this helps you out, when you open the door,if it sags down lower to the ground the hinges are bad, when open it should be at a 90 degree angle

Door won't lock for self cleaning although closed

Hi, Look to see if the safety switches in the slots in the door is bent Kind of hard to figure out if you don't know how they are supposed to look like but guess remember it's not working either, also could be a bad switch itself.

Oven temp will not change

Most ovens have BAKE, BROIL and yours might have CONVECTION. Turn each on independently. If all don't work its one problem if only one doesn't its another
Also is it the gas doesn't ignite or it ignites then no temp change (or electric gets to xx degrees but doesn't get hotter?

Jenn-air JJW9630CAS - double wall oven -door won't close, even after hinges replaced

On my double oven the bottom door was not closing by at least 21/2 inches the upper door would allow the light to stay on . Upon close examination this problem appeared to be the door was too low which did not allow the gasket to seat in the oven cavity, holding the door open. new hinges and receptors did not resolve this condition. This is how I corrected this condition. 1 open the doors one at a time and lock the hinges.2 remove the doors from the receptors (be careful they are heavy) and set aside. 3 remove mounting screws holding oven in cabinet. 4 slide oven forward enough to hold onto receptor sockets on left and right sides lower and upper 5 remove receptor sockets by removing the screws in front of oven(be careful to hold on to the receptor so it doesnt fall behind oven into cabinet)7 with a center punch punch a start point 1/8 inch above the existing screw holes and drill appropriate size hole for screw THE HOLES MUST MATCH UPPER AND LOWER RECEPTOR OR THE SCREWS ON THE LOWER DOOR WILL SCRATCH THE UPPER DOOR .8 attach receptors to oven in new holes 9 slide oven back into cabinet and replace screws removed in step three 10 attach doors into receptors and push locks forward into receptor cavity attach lower door first and check for operation then upper door open slowly and check enough clearance exists for the screws on the lower door miss the upper door . If more clearance is needed elongate the holes drilled earlier(repeat steps 1 through 5) and slide receptor up on upper door. NOTE The receptors are not in a sealed space in the oven cavity and are not exposed to any heat. Periodically check the screws for tightness. After performing this procedure Both doors close all the way and the light is no longer a problem Now 20 minutes cook time MEANS 20 MINUTES COOK TIME.
HOPE THIS RESOLVES YOUR PROBLEM !!!!!
