SOURCE: Karcher G2600 VH - low water pressure

If the spill valve activates is "spills" water under the washer. There is a restriction or the pump has become inefficient and will not pump the volume and pressure it should at full RPM.

SOURCE: B302 - unable to start detergent flowing - How should it work?

It will only pick up detergent if you use a low pressure detergent nozzle - or no nozzle at all. It also takes a while for the detergent to get to the nozzle.

SOURCE: karcher washer went dead

Dear jimbocom,
The problem is that the spill valve got stuck. When the machine is working and the gun is closed, a valve( spill valve) moves with the accumilated pressure and switches the machine off. So what happened is that when the spill valve did its job, it found no water...and remained stuck. This leaving the machine in an off position. Service and lubrication to the spill valve must be done or completely replacing with a new spill valve. In my opinion you have no serious damage, but this job must be carried out by an expirienced technician.
Regards,
MG.

SOURCE: trouble with Karcher Pressure washer

Dear Pgarciax,
It is important that you must have mentioned the model number of your Karcher. Just the same I can surely say that your machine's fault lies in the "SPILL VALVE"
When the gun is open and pressure is being produced, the spill valve is in a relaxed position. Also it has at the bottom a valve, which when pressure is produced it is closed. If this does not close due to dirt or corrosion, the pessure goes down. Now when you close the gun, pressure forces the spill valve down to close the electrical system. Now if the "o" rings of the spill valve are damaged, the machine will start going on and off while in stand-by. So if you know how to locate the Spill Valve, all one has to do is change it with a new one.
In some Karcher machines there are 2 spill valves. One regulates pressure and the other one is for switching off the machine when the gun is closed.
Low pressure could also be due to faulty suction or delivery valves. Most probably the suction valves.
But when saying that there are short interruptions while in stand by, I stick to the fact that the spill valve needs renewing.
Regards,
MG.

My karcher isn't giving me hot water why? It's a hds 601c

Morning Chris Taylor,

You have an igniter/burner coil inside your system that has to be
functioning properly to have good combustion going inside the coils of your heater unit (very bottom).

I tried to pull the documents to see if yours was kerosene powered (like mine: not a Karcher)... but could NOT pull your HDS 601C up on the company site (Karcher.com, sorry... It's me & my new PC).

Poor water = de-lime water coil procedure

Cool water = No combustion, check kerosene, oil (burner fuel)... filter... (etc.) and check your spark!

If your air supply is insufficient to support great combustion your ignitor & fuel nozzles can get heavily built up in soot. My manual says to clean it with detergent & water... I have only ever used Berryman choke & throttle body cleaner.

All the precautions... don't hurt yourself!!

Hope this helps...

On my Karcher 2600, I filled the detergent tank but as I was washing the bus none of it was coming out, it was still full when I finished, any suggestions Ted?

I see this lots of times , the detergent tank will only mt in the low pressure mode of nozzle , this is the only way a siphion will develop inside the soap tank and then high pressure can be used later to wrinse the item off well using just water

2600 PSI Pressure washer will not draw detergent up

I posted an answer to no soap on the Karcher Factory-Reconditioned 2,600 PSI 2.3 GPM Gas Pressure Washer G 2600 VHR. Same machine I suppose, but use the black 65 l degree low pressure nozzle.
It's in the manual , I missed it and had a hell of a time trying to figure it out. If that doesn't work check the check valve on the pump(Where the soap hose is) , see if it's gummed up.

Be careful taking it off there's a spring and ball bearing in there.

I have a Karcher K3.540 pressure washer. Won't take up detergent and motor pulses ever second if vari-lance increased towards maximim. Motor runs ok at lower pressure but can take 1min to start wh

This fault is within the control head, under the detergent valve is a small spring loaded valve that acts to induce the detergent, this will have failed, the shaft of the component breaks off the disk base leaving a small hole in the centre of the disk. This is enough to allow pressure past the component. The machine will pulse when operated and will not induce the detergent. I've looked everywhere to find this part as I have a karcher with the same fault.

Getting error signal about 5 minutes into the cycle

These alarms can mean allot of different things. If you use regular clothes detergant instead of the HE detergant you will get excessive sudsing and that will set a fault. If you overload the washer with bulky items that will set a fault if it is very uneven. If your sediment screen in your water supply hose(s) is getting clogged it will set a fault. If your drain filter underneath the tub inside the cabinet is clogged you will get a fault. Check these items first and repost back here if none of these were the issue and i'll be able to trouble shoot better.
