I have had this problem but found the answer on another strand of this site. Clean the barcode reader screen & this should sort the problem

I have a DeLonghi Caffe Elite DC78TCG which has stopped working. I push the button and nothing happens, it appears the thermostat is working what else could it be? The unit is getting power.

Had the same problem with mine. I think it was due to mineral build up. I put about 1/4 cup of white vinegar and 2 cups of water into the water chamber and let it sit for about 20 min. I placed a measuring cup where the carafe goes then I repeatedly plugged and unplugged into an outlet. When first plugged in I could hear the internal relay click on then click off a second later, as soon as I heard the second click I unplugged then replugged the power cord. Repeating this started to heat the water vinegar mixture, still no power light at this time. After doing this until the two cups flushed through and then I was able to use the power button to turn on. Ran another couple of water pots through and now I have my coffee maker working again.

Machine stopped working and both buttons are flickering, if I push the left (small coffee) button then the machine starts to pump cold water. If I push the left (large coffee) button nothing happens. Not...

May be busted, but before you take it to the shop try these few things. 1. Unplug machine for 30 seconds 2. Then plug back in, (lights should still be blinking) Take silver handle that you lift when you put in coffee pods and gently push back handle as far as you can for 3 seconds. This should reset your machine, back to factory settings. To then reset coffee cup settings to your personal taste by: 3. You can adjust the fill of coffee by holding the large coffee cup down for as long as you want to fill it. Try holding the button down for 20secs., next cup of coffee should automatically fill for 20 seconds. Do the same for small coffee side. Hope this works,it has for me; just not sure because of the cold water pumping out issue. good luck

When I turn the on switch on to start the brewing process the blue light comes on and beeps..then goes back dark and nothing happens. No coffee for me. always worked great until this happened. No local...

I just bought a used one of these on ebay and started having the same problem. It worked 3 times in a row, then had the same trouble you describe. I think there is some sensitivity with the water level. I started with 8 cups, then added 2 more and it still didn't stay turned on. Then my husband said the previous pot shorted him 2 cups of coffee, meaning that 2 cups of water was still in the pot when I started it. So I dumped out all the water and tried it one last time and it worked right away with 8 cups of water. Try emptying your water, dumping it upside down, add new water, then plug in and turn on. Good luck.

When I put in, 6 cups of water, if the 10 cup Bunn coffee maker after it has sat overnight, it only expels about 4 - 4.5 cups. I don't think it can all be evaporating or being absorbed in the grounds can...

look for water leaks around pot. Otherwise do a daytime brew to compare your difference between the amount poured in and what comes out. Please note that less water should mean using less ground coffee. Suggest 1 heaping table spoon per brewed cup.

No coffee coming from machine

Hi,

Can you make a cup of water or you can only get a half cup?

I think it can be your flowmeter in the machine that has to be replaced.

Coffee maker beeping

Is your grinder in and the lid down? My coffee maker (grind & brew) started beeping after I cleaned it and turned the left knob clockwise with the grinder still disassembled. There's a little button that is depressed when you close the lid with the grinder in there (I'd guess it's a safety feature). I pressed down that button, and the beeping went away.
