SOURCE: my wii keeps freezing

There are a few issues with this problem, one of these solutions might help you.

1. Get a camera and turn it on. Aim it towards the right side of your Wii Sensor Bar, and then towards the left side of the wii sensor bar. If your camera has a video output, you should notice 5 dots that blink on the right side (3 lined in the center, and 2 on the outsides of the center), and the same on the left side. My sensor bar had the five lights working on the right side, but the 5 dots sporadically glitching on the left side, which means I needed a new sensor bar. This is a $10 fix.

2. If you use a charger station (one example is by NyKo) those can burn out the wiimote sensors. I have been using it for over two years and not had a problem, yet. The lady said it could cause issues. Most likely not. This is a send wii and remotes in to get fixed, which costs $95.

The wii balance boards light will just blink but won't stay on I need help ? thanks!~Embrio Anderson ????

It's either not establishing a connection with the Wii, or it's batteries need changing. I personally have never had to connect a balance board with the Wii for the first time, I only played with it at my friend's house.

Wii won't turn on.

Reset the AC adapter by following steps below.

1. Unplug the Wii AC adapter at both ends (from the back of the
Wii system and from the wall outlet or power strip).

2. After you've waited a full 2 minutes, plug the AC adapter back in on both ends and check to see if the power light comes on.

Why can't I play the Wii there are new batteries.

You have to sync the remotes to the Wii. Open the battery compartment on the Wii Remote. There should be a little red button. Press this button. Now, on the front of the Wii, there should be a little door compartment where the SD cards etc. go. Open this door and press the red button there, after you have pressed the red button on the Wii Remote.
Your Wii Remote should now be synced with the Wii Console.

Remotes won't connect. put in new batteries, tried pressing red button in side remotes, all 4 blue lights are flashing on both remotes

Hello kellyanne_ma,
The Wii must be searching for remotes before one will connect. If you are trying to connect controller #1 (meaning there are none connected) and it fails, there may be a problem with your Wii.
First, remove power from the Wii by unplugging it. Wait 30 seconds and then plug it back in. Once powered on and you see the health/safety information press and hold the red SYNC button on your Wii for 20 seconds.
Now press the Sync button on the controller and while the blue lights are flashing, press the Sync button on the Wii.
Hopefully, that will connect the controller! If it does not, you may need to contact Nintendo!

Is my wii turned off? I pressed the power button but there is still a yellowish light. And then the opening for the disks has the blue light that won't shut off. So is it turned off or is something...

The Wii can stay connected to the internet to keep itself and apps, such as the weather and news, current. If you have the yellow light and the glowing blue disc slot, this feature is on.
You can go to the Wii's settings to turn the feature off.

I can't turn on the Wii. The red light is always on and when I press the power button (or even the eject button) the blue light is flashing (Only when I press those buttons). I tried the solution of...

Try pressing the power button down and holding it for a few seconds and see if your WII comes back to life. When I first got my Wii I would hold down the button just long enough for it to turn green. This seems like a standby mode. To get my Wii to turn off completly I needed to hold down
the button until it turned red and when restarting the WII I held doen the button until the Wii started back up.

After pressing the red sync button on the console for about 10-15 seconds, and syncronizing the remote, the remote stars to work, but when I start a game the remote is no longer working. Then when I...

There are two ways to sync the Wii remote with the Wii console after pressing the red sync button like you did:

1) Press the "1" and "2" buttons on the Wii remote until the lights begin to flash. This method provides a temporary connection to the Wii.
2) Open the battery cover on the Wii remote and press the red button next to the batteries. This creates a permanent connection or "pair" between the Wii remote and the Wii console.
Based on your description, it sounds like you are using method #1. In order to power on the Wii when the Wii's red light is on (meaning the machine is turned off) and start playing games like you want, method #2 must be used.
Imagine method #1 as "guest mode". If a friend comes over with their Wii remote and wants to play a game, you would open up the game first, use method #1, and your friend would temporarily be connected to the Wii. Using method #1 is like "owner mode" that lets the Wii remote turn the console on and off and always stay connected to it.
Hope this helps!

Lites flash on remote and thats all

Your Wii must be on to be able to Sync the controllers.

Press the power button on the Wii, then press the red sync button located behind the SD slot door. Once this button has been pressed, locate your controllers, take off the battery cover, and press the red button inside the battery compartment. The blue lights on the front will flash a few times, a chime will be heard, and your controllers will now function with that Wii.

Every different Wii you use these controllers with, you must sync them every time to that other Wii

Can't sync wii remotes to console

When you sync the wii motes you have to do it in proper order!!!

There are 2 ways to sync one is minor out of sync stuff. You push red button on the wii briefly then quickly press the red button on the wiimote.

Second one is what you need to do. First remove any disk then hold in the power button until the light turns red. (not yellow or orange). Release it then unplug the Wii. Do not remove the batteries but if they are low replace them before you turn it back on. Wait at least 2 minutes.
Have the backs off the Wiimotes.
Plug the Wii in.
Turn the power on.
As the Health and Safety screen appears push in the red button on the Wii.
Hold it there a min. of 15 seconds. 25-30 is better.
When you release it right away push the red button on the first Wii mote. It flashes all the lights.
Immediately press then release the red button on the Wiimote while lights are flashing. When they stop flashing it will be synched.
a.Then press the button on the Wii again (this time only hold for 2-3 seconds) then press the red button on the second wiimote and while lights flash press the button on the Wii again.
Repeat a. for any other wiimotes.
