Patch needed for Vista and LG KS360

My Vista PC does not recognise my LG KS360 phone when connected with the USB cable when I run the LG PC Suite (4.1.4.2.080731). However it does see both the phone's own memory and external memory card. Please help.

    When my OS tries to install the drivers it fails and cant find the solution online. I cant seem to find any solutions either?


    Do you have problems with bluetooth  connection to your pc?

    Changing to Data makes no difference..why is the LG software so flaky?

I had this problem too.
Disconnect the phone from the PC. If you can see the data space as drives then your connected in Mass Storage mode.

Go into Settings/Connectivity/USB and select Data Service.

Re-connect and you should now be all OK.....you just need to select the Mass Storage again if you want to get to the files via explorer etc.

hi to transfer the photos from your phone to your pc or from pc to your phone you have to go the settings in your phone and then go to connectivity then go to usb settings and select mass storage. After that connect your phone to your pc and then you can go to my computer you will have your phone listed their and then you will be able to do it.

Failure to connect mobile phone to computer
first install the pc suite for the phone on your laptop and then connect the phone to your laptop, if you dont have the pc suite, download it from their site.\
am sure it will work except you are using the wrong connectivity cable.

LG PC Suite does not detect the LG KS360 phone!
You need to change the usb connection type on the LG. By default it is set to "mass storage", if you change it in your "connection" setting to "data storage" when you next plug in your phone, it will have all of the PC Suite settings available without any grayed out non-functionality.

Wont connect from lg pc suite
Happened to me a few times. Try restarting your computer but leaving it plugged in so your computer already recognises what it is.

If you plug it in your computer takes 10 minutes or so figuring out what it is and whether you need to download anything additional for it to work. If you restart your computer by the time you click LG PC Suite it will have already recognised what it is and will work. If your computer has wireless settings you could try connection through bluetooth!
