I bought a cobra cpi 1575 about two weeks ago and installed in my truck. (replaced an old one that had quit working) it worked great until the last time i used it it went into error mode (loud continuis beep) and the display said olp. i unpluged everything from it as this is suposed to indicate an overload on the inverter, turned the inverter off and waited (now two days) but when i turn it back on it still says olp and beeps with no power output even with nothing pluged in? i have disconected it and powered on to drain it then reconected it and no change.

it indicates an overload situation
not enough information provided as to voltage supplied to the inverter and the voltage of the grinder
examples are for 110 volts ac with a current draw of 4.2 amps the wattage is 462 watts or for 240 v ac with 4.2 amps the wattage is 1008 watts assuming that it is 240 volts and the inverter has a maximum ate of 1000 watts then it is overloaded and circuit protection is cutting in
check the wattage of the inverter and the wattage of the ac units you use and if there is not a 25% difference in favour of the inverter then it is an overload situation
Did you check the batteries to see if they are good. Some individuals are having to replace the batteries sooner then they should have to. Good place to start. Hope this helps. Bud

It may be a corrupt backup you are trying to install, but if there is a corrupt file you will need to borrow a genuine XP disc off a friend to repair it.
You can use your own license number for the copy so your friend shouldnt be concerned with piracy.
You may get the pc running by locating on the motherboard either the 3 pin JBAT1 terminal and put jumper from pins 1-2 to pins 2-3 then back to 1-2, or short both pins if you have a 'CLRCMOS', 'CLRRTC' or 'RTC' 2 pin terminals with a jumper cap.
Restart pc and it should make you press F1 to set the cmos time and date and hopefully boot into windows, but if not the first paragraph will be the solution to the problem.
