How do i remove/reduce my shared system memory from my Samsung R480?
By acessing to my Nvidia control panel, i found out that i have about 2gbs of my video memory in the shared system memory. My specs are :
Intel Core i5 M460 @ 2.53Ghz (4 CPUs), ~2..5GHz,
Memory 6144MB RAM,
Nvidia GeForce 310M Approx. total memory 3212 MB.
Now here's what i found into my nvidia control panel :
Cuda Cores : 16,
Graphics Clock: 625 MHz,
Processor clock: 1530 MHz,
Memory Data Rate 1580 MHz,
Memory Interface: 64-bit,
Total avaible graphics memory: 3258 MB,
Dedicated Video Memory: 512 DDR3,
System video memory: 0Mb,
Shared system Memory: 2746Mb
How do i reduce the shared system memory? Is it really necessary or not? Is shared system memory important for my computer? Is that normal?

this is because your RAM capacity may be too low. Or you have too many programs running at the same time. Reduce the effects of laggy gameplay or CTD (close to desktop) by right clicking on the desktop and selecting "Nvidia Control panel" once the nvidia control panel opens click on "adjust image settings with preview" which can be found under "3D settings" on the left side of the screen. When a page opens up with a rotating green eye shape, select "use my preference emphasizing" then set the slider to "performance" or "balanced". then close the Nvidia control panel
