No, because the camera is too old to be compatiable with teh SDHC its only compatiable with SD not SDHC.

PNY optima sdhchd 8gb won't read in my Kodak easy

What model Kodak EasyShare camera? Some of them only work with SD cards, not with SDHC cards. The same applies to kiosks. Make sure the slot is marked "SDHC' and not simply "SD".

I cannot get my dx4530 to accept the 8gb optima card

The DX4530 works with MMC and SD cards. Your 8GB card is actually an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it is electronically incompatible and will not work. You need to use cards 2GB and smaller with this camera.

I have a kodak M1033 camara with a SD HC PNY optima 240 HD 16 GB and the camara says internal memory is full and is only 1/2 minute video in the camara please help

Hi!
Sonds like the camera hasn't switched to the memory card. Go to setup and set memory to Auto not Internal. If that doesn't help, it's possible that the camera doesn't support 16GB card, but it should give you a card error then, so check the memory settings first.
