SOURCE: GE built-in 27" convention oven (JKP18)

I have the same oven and the problem is probably the control panel not the circuit breaker. I'm having the panel replaced next week for the 3rd time in 8 years but, you can find it on the web at repairclinic.com for about $140. they also provide troubleshooting help and installation help. I've spoken with GE many times trying to convince them that my oven may have an assembly related problem but they don't want to hear about it. Just replace the part and avoid all the aggravation I've endured trying to get GE to take care of it.
Good luck

SOURCE: fan oven on zanussi electric cooker does not heat up

From symptons, I would say the fan oven element is faulty, more so if the fan is working. Remove inner rear panel of oven and see if element gets warm, let it run for a minute, switch off and feel if element is warm, if not, then replace.the element.
Plz rate this solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: zanuisi top oven making noise

Yes , there is a cooling fan located at the top of the oven
It could be the fan blades catching, or a noisy fan bearing.
You would have to access it by removing the top oven cover to check., and yes it could be as a result of having it cleaned.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: tricity bendix se211 electric cooker trips all my electrics

The symptoms you describe are a classic example of an oven element heating up, and as it gets hotter, the insulation is breaking down, thereby causing the earth leakage trip to operate.
To confirm this , switch on the oven, and turn all 4 rings on the top to full heat, 2 at a time, let them stay on for at least 10-15 mins, and if it does not trip, then you can be pretty sure it is the oven element(s) that is the problem

It is not likely to be the wall switch, as if it were faulty, i would expect the trip to go right away.
If you want to check further, then turn on the oven again and see if it trips, if it does ,then it is definately the oven element(s) that is the problem.

If it is a fan assisted oven , the element is at the rear of the oven, and possibly one under the base ot the oven. If it is a conventional convection oven, then there is an element at each side of the oven, even if one is faulty, replace both.

Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: replace element in top of oven of an f241 candy cooker.

There should be two screws at the inside back of oven. However, once you have the new element look for the holes in the new one

My Smeg oven stop working Fan inside lights and clock are working but Thermostat and program lights as well heating is not working.Any ideas what could be a problem

Check if the oven timer is on auto mode. If it is, turn it on to manual mode .
Remove the power cable from the outlet and wait for 20 minutes. As you plug your oven back in, the oven timer should reset as well .
Hold the timer buttons down at the same time to reset the timer .
Meter the thermostat out and see if it's open circuit .
Take the top off and inspect the selector switch and see if there are any signs of burning on the switch .

Kenwood CK405 Duel Fuel Range Cooker - The large oven is not working, it isn't heating on any settings, oven, grill, fan oven and the indication light does not come on. How can I resolve this please?

I have fix a few of these it's the selector switch the one that you turn to select which part of the oven you want to use it is a bit costly for it but if you can strip the top of the range it is easy to see and you will see on the selector at the back the 2 wires the copper strip will be a purple colour in stead of a copper colour you can fit a beko selector to the selector switch on urs and just move the 2 wires to it works a treat and only cost about £10

Bought new cooker however no user guide its a kenwood ck404 duel fuel double oven 5 ring burner. need to know what symbols on switches are and what they do.

I have a problem with my Kenwood CK404. When I put either oven on (it's a double oven), once it gets hot it starts to make an awful noise. At first I thought it was the fan in the main oven. But it makes the same noise in the small oven, which doesn't have one. Does anyone have any suggestions of what the problem could be? Kind Regards

If it has a digital or anologue timer, make sure it is set on manual, or the oven will not work.
