Is the Jazz DV150 and JazzDVX50 the same thing?

I ordered the Jazz DV150 normally selling for 80.00 ( as advertised ) for 25.00, The packaging was sealed, plasic formed to the product, and all showing it as a Jazz DV150. However, the Picture on my order form looks slightly diff. from the actual product I am holding. Also, upon looking at it closer, I noticed the front of the actual product has the name Jazz DVX50 printed on it.

I have a feeling its going to have something to do with what Codecs your converter is using. To the best of my knowledge, the DV150 only supports a certain type of AVI. I'm sorry i can't be more help but i'm not really sure.

SOURCE: how do you unlock card

Look at the memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

SOURCE: When can I purchase a

You can purchase an SD card any time you want, the DVX50 supports SDHC cards but will not support any card over 8GB. I suggest you take the camcorder to Best Buy so you can make sure you are getting the right SD card.

New Jazz DV150. Installed new batteries (tested) and SD card (tried switch in both locations). Powers on, says "Read card....", "Goodbye", powers off.

HI, I just got off the phone with a very nice man in NJ at Digitac. He walked me through a few fixes: Try a different SD card, clear SD card, put SD card in and then start camera, start camera and then put SD card in. None worked, so he said something is wrong with the camera computer and I will have to send the camera in for warranty work.

Help

Try not running the Syn software at all. Try copying the files over manually.

After plugging in the USB cable you should get a small popup that says its connected.

Click on "My computer" and under "Devices with removable storage" you should see a new device called DV.

double click on that and you should see 3 folders. DCIM, EBOOK, and MP3

Copy your mp3 files from your computer into the mp3 folder of the camera and it should work.
