How do i change the time or date on my eclipse g2 180 mp3

I go to settings and click on date or time, then i click on date. it only lets me use the skip buttons to select what month i have no idea how to get to change the day it wont let me just skip(arrow) over to day without changing the month if i click menu it goes back to the date and time option screen..................... please help me

When changing either date or time
1. set the first one then hold the center button for a few seconds then release. It should move to the next column.

USB cable compatible with Eclipse MP3 players










Instructions

  • 1 Plug a USB cable into the Eclipse MP3 player. Plug the other end of the USB cable into an open port on the Windows 7 computericon1.png.
  • 2 Click the "Start" button on the Windows 7 desktop taskbar and click "Computer" in the menu that appears. Click the "Music" item located in the left pane of the "Computer" window that appears. Double-click on the "iMesh" folder. For Windows 7, XP and Vista. Recommended. Download Now.
  • 3 Click the "Start" button on the Windows 7 taskbar and click "Computer" and then double-click on the "Removable disk" icon that represents the Eclipse MP3 player device. A window will appear displaying the contents of the Eclipse MP3 player storageicon1.png area.
  • 4 Right-click on a music file in the "iMesh" directory that has the "mp3" suffix, and click "Copy" in the menu that appears.
  • 5 Right-click on empty space in the "Removable disk" window and click "Paste" to copy the music file to the Eclipse MP3 player device. Repeat for each file you wish to download to the Eclipse MP3 player.






    To copy multiple music files at one time to the Eclipse MP3 player, press and hold the "Shift" key on the keyboard. Click once on each file you wish to copy. Right-click on one of the highlighted MP3 music files and click "Copy" in the menu that appears. Right-click on empty space in the Eclipse "Removable disk" window and click "Paste."

From the main menu, Go to Setting>Date & Time>Adjust Date or Adjust Time
don't turn the player off by just flipping the switch, as that resets the time, hold the power button until it turns completely off, then flip the switch

My local time says 0146 on my ipod and i cint change the time

  1. Step 1 Turn on the iPod or access the main menu. Scan down the menu listings for "Settings." Use the click wheel to highlight "Settings." This will pull up a side-bar menu of options for the iPod.
  2. Step 2 Pick "Date & Time" from the list of options on the side-bar menu. Once again you will be given a list of options. Highlight "Set Date & Time" using the click wheel and then select it using the center button.
  3. Step 3 Use the click wheel to change the current minutes setting. When you are finished, press the center button to move on to the hours setting.
  4. Step 4 Use the click wheel to change the current hours setting. As before, use the center button when you are finished. You have set the time on your iPod.

To set date and time options:

1. Choose Settings > Date & Time.
2. Choose Date. Use the Click Wheel to change the selected value. Press the Center button to move to the next value.
3. Choose Time. Use the Click Wheel to change the selected value. Press the Center button to move to the next value.
4. To specify the time zone, choose Time Zone and use the Click Wheel to select a city in
another time zone.

Time and date.

You can download the manual from the link below: http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/200509/20050922101326796_YPT7J-SEA-ENG1.0.pdf It seems the players date & time are set when the player is connected to your PC to transfer music. Make sure the date & time are set correctly on your PC then connect the player & it should update. You can only change the hour in case you travel & change timezones.
