It seems like your PC's USB slot or the cord for the MP3 is broken. Try using a new cord or plug it into a different slot.

Download a current version of windows media player on your pc and open it. when it opens it will ask if you want to search for music on your pc - choose yes or ok. The media player will locate any music files on your pc and bring them into it so you can see them. use the "sync" function to convert the file formats to mp3, then connect your player to your pc using the cable and transfer the music to it. the sync function should convert the files to mp3 format first and then when they are converted - it should sync or transfer them to a useable version on your mp3 player.. Be patient, the sync feature is sometimes slow.

Monster high mp3 player doesnt play music

Not a "solution" per se but there is an email for support at the Website for manufacturer Sakar International (assuming the product at this Toys R Us link is what you bought:http://www.toysrus.com/buy/mp3-players/monster-high-4gb-digital-mp3-player-with-video-59048-tru-11129829)

http://www.sakar.com/support

You can probably obtain either a direct answer or a new .PDF copy of the manual by emailing them. I was unable to locate the product on their Website though so I suspect it may be a product they no longer support. :(

Good luck

Hi i have bought 2 moushi monster mp3plays for my boys they were ment to be for today they have been on charge music had been added but they won't work unless there plugged in as soon as there unplugged it...

I found this in the reviews on Amazon UK. It seems like this is a common problem with this unit.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B00870ZL86

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas (not from amazon another store but i cant leave a review but people need to know this before buying this item)looked great when daughter opened it she was really impressed (massive moshi monster fan) couldnt wait to listen to her music on it, plugged it all in charged it put music on followed instructions, gave it to my daughter to use and it would turn on nothing. my partner (who is a tech geek) tried again but nothing, no matter what he did it wouldnt turn on unless plugged into the computer, so had a very upset little girl, so ended up buying her an ipod as we know they work. in other words looking for an mp3 player just spend an extra money and get an ipod shiffle instead of wasting your time with this rubbish.

How do you download music on mp3 player 5948 monster high

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Click on this link for instruction on converting music files to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

What age group uses the Acer Aspire? I bought one for my 17 year old granddaughter for Christmas but now I'm afraid it may be too young for her?

In my opinion, that is a good desktop computer for that age group. It's fast enough to keep up with multitasking, like having myspace, facebook, twitter, youtube (I have a 15 year old daughter), and hopefully something to do with homework up. It is upgradable to 2GIGs of RAM and you can also upgrade the processor later if she does anything intensive in college.

I have about the same system, although mine is self built, for my daughter and at this time she doesn't need anything more or less.

Have a Merry Christmas and I am sure she will love it.

Macbook

Do not use any of the supplied pc software on your mac.  Plug the player into your mac using the usb cable supplied.  It should appear on your desktop.  If it doesn't it's the player itself.  If it appears just drag the songs from your music folder onto the mp3 player.  I've had this same problem.  My daughters each received one for christmas.  One worked and one didn't.

Ilo mps and vista

I also have windows vista. I inserted the disc that came along with the ilo mp3 player and it accepted and recognizes the player. My husband and I bought it for our daughter for Christmas and she loves it. I would suggest uninstalling the program from the disc then reinstalling it. It took the 1st time for us when we downloaded. I hope this help's you out.

3. goto start then my computer, you should find the player, open the player
4. check weather there is a folder called musi.
