This thermostaat was installed when the new furnace was installed almost 5 years ago. I love ther flexability of this Thermostaat but I had the furnace installer come back after a few weeks and disable the Adaptive Recovery function. Our circumstances have changed and I am considering changing back to the Adaptive Intelligent Recovery mode but I do not want to pay $100 to have the guy make a house call. So with that in mind, how really difficult is it to make the change my self. All the manual says is to have the furnace techician come and do it. I am pretty handy with these kinds of things, I configure and put together computers for people as a sideline to my retirement so I am fairly kowledgeable.
Thanks for your help in this matter.

You are going to need the installers manual, inside is the installer set up functions, it will have the code to get you to the adaptive intelligence setting on your stat, I have found living here in the northwest that the A.I.R. setting does not function properly, to cold here for it to function right, people were complianing that it would start coming on well before the programed settings, what it does is anticipates the need of the home and reacts. We here have to shut the function off. Hope that helps
I finally found an installation guide online for this t'staat. All I had t do was go into installers mode on the controller and change a value from "0" to "1". It told me which buttons to push to get into installers mode and which item # to change. In my case it was item number 13.
