After reset cant get game apps back, tried to unzip file, save and copy paste but still not working. How do I get my games back??? Please help???????

I have the same problem. Did a factory reset desperate to get Tabeo connected and lost all preloaded apps. I just got off the phone with a lady that helped me register the tabeo so that I can connect to the internet finally however, she was unable to help me get preloaded apps back. We have to call tech support 888-477-0888, their line has been busy all day but we just keep trying

Parental Control / Reinstall pre-loaded apps

Very upsetting, I agree! I factory reset yesterday and lost all my preloaded apps, the only way to get them back is to call tech support and have them do it. Unfortunately the number has been busy all day and tabeo website has been down on and off all day today. I will try again tomorrow. Good luck!

Tabeo tablet lost downloaded apps

This is the worst and most frustrating purchase ever!!! Finally registered it and downloaded apps from scratch since i lost my preloaded apps from factory reset and everytime we want to play a game, parental control pops up every time, even in the middle of the game!! Ridiculous!

How to get 50 preload apps

Reload the original system files

1.) Download the "system.zip" file and unzip (using a program such as WinZip, 7-Zip, WinRAR, etc.) the file.
2.) You will then need to connect the Tabeo tablet to your PC and then select the "Turn on USB storage" option on the screen once it comes up.
3.) After the file has been unzipped it will need to be transferred to the main folder, or "root directory" of the Tabeo tablet. Please ensure that you do not place the "system" folder in any of the folders already in the "root directory".
4.) You will now need to have to go into Settings application (located under the apps list from the top right corner) and go down to "About tablet" and select Start Wizard. Then turn the unit off and on again.

Can't find the apps that are suppose to be on the tablet, no icon for games on screen

The Tabeo should have come preloaded with 50 games. The tiles appear on the home screen.
If the tablet did not come preloaded, contact Tabeo Support (24/7) or consider the following options:

There are 2 icons on the bottom of the screen which can help you: Tabeo App's and Games (assuming you can see it).
Connect to WiFi and download the games your child wants via Tabeo App's. A list of the preloaded games can be found here: http://www.toysrus.com/shop/index.jsp?categoryId=13311921
Try looking for the games icon again, I have included pictures below which may help.

go to settings; backup and reset, perform the reset and wipe all data, passwords, etc.

I downloaded the system.zip , connected the tabeo but nothing comes up so I can "turn on USB storage" I know I'm probably just overlooking something . Please help.

Download the file called RecoverApps.zip to your computer from the following website: Tabeo Downloads
Extract the .zip that you downloaded to your computer. You will need to use an extraction program such as the following:
- Winzip (Download winzip)
- Winrar (Download Winrar)
- 7zip (Download 7zip)
Once extracted you should now have a folder called RecoverApps that if opened has a bunch of .APK files in it. If you open it and find another RecoverApps folder in it open the second one, that will have the APK Files.

4.connect ur unit into ur comp. & open the drive on ur comp. so u can see all the folders in it. copy the recovery app folder that actually contains the apk files into the unit called system. 5.once the copy is finished disconnect the unit from the computer and on the unit go to settings-about tablet-start wizard. confirm you wish to run the app then turn the tabeo off then back on and u will b walked through the default appz will b re-installed to the unit
