THE RELEVANT PART OF THE AMAZON REVIEW IN QUESTION:

How to fix it:
WARNING: Before opening the back of the fan be sure to unplug it first! Don't electrocute yourself, please. Next, once all the screws have been removed open it from the side without the expander. You won't be able to take the back completely off but it opens wide enough to get your hand in there. Be careful. Don't blame me if you crack the casing or hurt yourself. Plus, opening the fan voids the warranty so proceed at your discretion. The thermostat wire on this model is a thin black wire about 3 inches long that is tucked under the circuit board on the right (if the top of the fan is closest to you when you've opened it). I stretched it out, taped it in place, and now it works like it should! When putting the fan back together the plastic part that covers the circuitry also houses the upper arm of the side extension so the arm should rest just inside the lip.

Look up this fan on amazon.com. In the comments/reviews a gentleman posted instructions for fixing the thermostat (it involves opening up the fan and repositioning the thermostat wire).

Is there a diagram for the wiring of a CZ310RBL Climate Keeper reversible window fan?

The powerful, dual-blade Bionaire Twin Reversible Airflow Window Fan has routinely clobbered every other window fan we've tested, and many members of Wirecutter's staff have happily used this model for years. However, we've seen new complaints pop up with this model in recent summers, noting some problems that we've experienced ourselves in re-tests. Window fans meet a unique need, but they are notoriously weak products. So even though this is the best of the lot, those who are shopping for a window fan should ask themselves whether they need to get one in the first place.

wow... you must have got it really wet ! but if that is why it is not working now, then set it out in the sun for a few hours, or put it in front of another fan. hope this helps. post if it does. There are other problems it could be and I may be able to help with that as well. first things first. good luck. Tim

My Bionaire Tower fan is Switching the sitting by itself from 1 speed to 2 speed. is it a defect?

I don't think it is a defect, but you may want ot check with the store.

I have a similar one that starts at a higher speed and switches down to low after a few seconds.
After that I can select the running speed.

I have a sony (model KP61V75) a split screen came on (two pictures) and I cannot figure out how to get it back to one screen. Im going crazy!

Some television remote controls have a PIP OFF button, while others only have a PIP button that needs to be pressed repeatedly until the PIP/Twin-View window disappears.

NOTES:

  • Some Sony rear projection televisions have a FLASH FOCUS button that will turn off the PIP/Twin-View feature.

  • Some Sony universal remote controls, if programmed to operate a Sony TV, can disable the PIP/Twin-View feature by pressing the REC or ENT button.

  • If the original TV remote control is not available or is not functioning properly, auto programming the television tuner orperforming a power reset may deactivate the PIP/Twin-View feature.

  • If pressing the appropriate buttons on the TV remote control does not work, then the PIP/Twin-View window might be from a two-tuner cable or satellite set-top box. If this is the case, use the remote control provided with the set-top box to remove the PIP/Twin-View window.

Hi, I have a problem with bionair widow fan 2300, it´s the R1 RESISTOR, but the over heating erase the color code of the resitor, you can help me?...sorry for my english

There is a major problem with the fan's electronic board. There is most likely a shorted capacitor, or some sort of fried transistor somewhere. depending on your electronics know how, try troubleshooting the circuit starting with it's power supply/input. but depending on the price of the fan, and the amount of aggrivation, I would just get a new one. Remember, most of the newer appliances today are ment to only last a few years, then die. I don't care what it is. all the companies want to do is make them as cheaply as possible, so they can sell more of them, and make more money. so don't be surprised if you can't fix it. some things are just not fixable.

How to use a SUNBEAM twin window fan with

Intake brings the air outside into your room, exhaust pushes the air inside your room out.

What setting you use depends on your personal taste of temperatures and the temperature inside vs outside. If you set the thermostat to 72 degrees and it is more than that outside then I would use the exhaust setting. If you set it to 72 degrees, and it is 68 outside but 84 inside then I would set it onto intake to cool the inside air.

Not right

The controler electronics are probably failing, or the motors are starting to pull too much current. Get in contact with Bionaire to find out who their local service is in your area for parts and repairs.
