There could be several reasons why the Canon XA10 camera is not powering on when the power button is pressed. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
Check the battery: Make sure the battery is charged and properly inserted into the camera. If the battery is low or dead, the camera may not turn on.
Check the power adapter: If you are using the AC adapter, make sure it is properly plugged into the camera and the power outlet.
Try a different battery or power adapter: If you have another battery or power adapter, try using it to see if the camera powers on. If it does, the original battery or adapter may be faulty.
Reset the camera: Remove the battery and memory card from the camera, then press and hold the power button for at least 30 seconds. Reinsert the battery and memory card, then try turning on the camera again.
Contact Canon customer support: If none of the above steps work, the issue may be with the camera's internal components. Contact Canon customer support for further assistance.

try a new battery pack or let your's charge for 12 hres
about ;its seems that the battery pack you have is low in charge;because if its works with the chargerit should works with battery;about the bad fuse if it was the problem ,the camera will not work at all,
and that is a big problem that fuse is inside the camera on the pwr board,
You can download manuals here. Also, if you click on the tab marked "Supplies & Accessories" (center of page), you can see the part number for the charger, and order one from Canon if you want.
Check to make sure the batteries you are using have enough strength and volt power, if not it wont work. If they are really cheap, and last only a weak in the remote, they wont power up a camera.
