I have tried to locate electrical information on your oven from here in the USA. I was not able to locate the electrical requirements for your Zanussi ZOD 330X. If it is typical voltage for ovens like ours in the USA I would say no and that the power should be 240 volts and 50 ampere breaker. But to be sure you should locate a local supplier for your model and ask them first. This will prevent any incorrect answers from someone that is not familiar with your local requirements. Thank You, Sea Breeze

SOURCE: My zanussi oven model: ZOB 551X keeps overheating.

Hi.

Either the element stays always on because of a short in wiring or the electronic control board is faulty because of a shorted relay (often not replaceable and integrated with control board. Testing is done reading volts at electronic control and at element, then tracking back volts in wiring up to electronic control module contacts. The click is not a definitive test. The temperature probe must also be tested reading Ohms before replacing other parts. Impedance must be little less than 11KOhms at room temperature. Disconnect power and check element's contacts and wiring. Try first finding out if problem is broiling , baking or both. Testing with power on should be done only by trained personal.

Regards.

Zanussi Zob 330: The clock resets itself to 12:00 and makes a buzzing sound after about an hour of resetting the clock to the correct time. What could the problem be and how do I fix it??

The problem is most likely with the Large Rectangle Grey X2 Capacitor on the clock circuit board which needs to be replaced by an appliance repair person or electrician.

From my understanding, although they are self-healing, as they are subjected to power surges they deteriorate and allow less and less current through the circuit until they get to a point where there isn't enough current flowing to firmly latch the relay (which is why there is a buzzing from the relay turning on and off quickly).

My clock was also at the point where there wasn't enough power for the timer beeper, so when the beeper went off it would reset the clock after about half a beep. And if the clock was started at 12:00, when it got to 16:08 it would reset as there wasn't enough power to display all those led segments.

I replaced the 1000uF capacitor, which didn't change anything, then replaced the X2 capacitor and now it works perfectly!

Hopefully that is helpful to someone. :)
