Usually copying over music manually works for mp3 players such as this one but you can use a program to do that. iTunes, Songbird, Windows Media Player and a plethora of other free music management programs work. Find one that you prefer using and use it to sync the music on your computer to your mp3 player.
well... try pressing the reset button at the back of ur GPX.. if it still doesn't work... turn it off for about a day or two.. then turn it on again...
I went to the GPX website and emailed them my problem([email protected]) They will have to send you a form to fill out and return with the player. If you have any questions just ask them. I found them to have very good customer service and I got my replacement a week after I sent it. I did send it with delivery confirmation(my total shipping was only 6.45) -just to be safe. Also save all your communication with them. Things can go wrong. Especially this time of year.
Remember-if it is still under warranty they will need a copy of the receipt. Mine wasn't-but $35 was worth the replacement.
Good luck and if I can help you anymore just ask.
I had the same problem with my gpx ml848b. After about 2 months of it sitting in my office I decided tonight to take it apart and fiddle with it. I took out all the screws to get the insides out and lifted the circuit board from the screen. I blew really hard in side between the screen and the circuit board. and to my surprise when I flipped it over( with it still dismembered) the screen became responsive again. All I can guess is something inside was not allowing contact between the circuit board and the buttons.....but this fixed it. Good Luck.
