One thing you can try is to hold down on the power button and plug the unit in. Hopefully you will hear a "beep". Then you need to unplug it for a minute and plug it back in. This is a known procedure to clear error codes from the control computer on units similar to yours, so it might possibly work. Something else you can do is download and look through the Users Manual for your model, which is at this URL: --> http://www.haier.com/products/product.asp?proID=3705 Hope this helps! ;)

If the Error Code for a Haier 10K window unit shows E0, all you need to do is to order a Haier A0011800279G Power Control Board. Put it in and the problem is fixed. Works like new. Found on Ebay for 39 bucks brand new.

Haier HF50CW20W stopped working

It sounds like your chest freezer may have a problem with its compressor. The fact that the compressor is cool to the touch suggests that it may not be turning on at all.
Here are a few things you can check:
  • Make sure the freezer is properly plugged in and that the outlet has power
  • Check the thermostat setting to ensure it is set to the correct temperature
  • Check the compressor's overload protector. It may have tripped and will need to be reset.
  • Check to see if the compressor is getting power by using a multimeter to test the continuity of the compressor's start and run windings
  • Check the compressor's capacitors. They could be damaged and need replacing
  • Check the evaporator fan motor, if the fan is not running, the compressor will not turn on.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be best to contact a professional or the manufacturer for further assistance.

Haier HSW02C runs ALL the time

Yes your thermostat is shorted. It's just not shutting the unit off ever. A thermostat is something you can touch as a user, so no it's not that hard to get to for replacement. Also have the unit unplugged while learning how to repair your appliance.

Coils are freezing in the room air conditioner

Hello my name is Heath it will be my pleasure to assist you. First thing to do is turn the unit off and check the filter then if the filter is okay check to see if the blower comes on when you put the fan switch on the thermostat from auto to on. If the blower isn't coming on then there could be a problem with the blower motor. If the motor is running then turn the system to cool and turn the setting down to where the air should be on. Then check the outside unit and be sure the outside unit is running if the outside unit is not running go to the house panel box and check the breaker to see if any of them are tripped or off. If there off turn them on and check the outside unit again. If all is running and you get no air flow through the vents then the coil could be frozen. If the unit is frozen turn the thermostat to off and leave the indoor blower on by leaving the fan switch in the on position for a couple hours till it thaws. If the unit froze up then there could be a problem with the a/c system most likely low on refrigerant as a result of a leak. I would have it leak tested and repaired if this is the case.

My Haier dehumidifier is really noisy. If we turn it off and restart it, it will run quietly for maybe 4 minutes and then start getting really noisy again. Any ideas what is causing it and what I can do...

Hi,

With the unit unplugged, open the cover and check the alignment of the fan. If the fan is stuck or rubbing against the fan cowling, adjust the fan motor's mounting hardware so that the fan turns freely.

Take care.

your wiring is melted or shorted under the electrical access panel where the selector switches are. You will usually see melted wires and burnt ends. Your compressr start wire has melted to a hot. good luck and remember to unplug the unit first
