How do I reset the lamp life on the projector when I have no remote?
I have tried using a compatible remote and pressing 'source' and 'auto adj.' at the same time but with no response from the projector. It simply won't do anything!

Reset the lamp timer.
1,Connect the power cord.
2,While simultaneously holding down "menu","enter" and "down" on the projector, press "standby/On" on the projector and keep all four buttons pressed down until the lamp indicator starts blinking green.
"LAMP 0000H" is displayed, indicating that the lamp timer is reset.

The lamp life may have exceeded its safe limit, check your manual as you may have to press a specific button on the unit/remote for a length of time to reset it.
Unplug your projector from the power source. Hold down the On/Standby button and the Menu buttons at the same time and plug the power back in as you are holding them down. This will reset the lamp hours used and should remove that message.
You do so by doing the following: 1).Start the projector. 2).Press keypad <Source> and <Auto> keys simultaneously, enter " Lamp Hour info" layer 3). Press <Source> and <Auto> keys simultaneously again, then enter factor menu. Do not change anything till you reach Lamp Layer where lamp hour and usage hour is given. If you reset, then all data revert to default - factory reset. you may chage here or under (2). Let me know if this solves your problem.

If you do not have a remote here is how to reset the filter time. Use the "Menu" bottun to get the "easy menu" to display. Push the down arrow until you get to "Filter Time," then push and hold the RIGHT arrow to reset the filter time. DO NOT try to reset using the "Reset" option on the easy menu, it will not work.
I have just reset my lamp! Disconnect all cables but the power, switch on it will search for a source, the lamp timer message will display press exit untill it will give you a message to press menu to reset the lamp timer, it will give you a option to press left or right to reset. I used the buttons on the projector not the remote.
