Sony tv letters are not clear

Hi there im having a problem with my sony tv the problem is picture are nice and perfect .but the  letters are very blurry  not clear .please advice me thanks ..george

    I HAVE A 52 SONY BIG SCREEN THAT IS SEVERAL YEARS OLD, MY PROBLEMS SOUNDS LIKE NHIS, MY PICTURE IS VERY GOOD BUT ANY TIME THERE IS WRITING IT IS VERY FUZZY OR BLURRY. I CLEANED MY LAMPS AND MIRROR YESTERDAY AND IT DIDNT HELP THIS PROBLEM

    how old is your set and when you pull up anything with writing its soft fuzzy blurry looking ?

If you get a clear picture using your DVD player, then the problem may not be the TV, but rather with the satellite decoder, or the wiring from the source to the decoder.

, hi ,, im having a similar problem with the same unit.

it was working fine and all of a sudden the pictured started to look a bit weird , the best way to explain it is probably like this.
ever seen a computer running windows in 256 colour mode?

the picture itself is clear as a bell and the tv works perfectly , but everything looks like this ,

any ideas people?

Sony KP%&HW40 with varying background tinting

YOU HAVE 6 ADJUSTMENT BEHIDE THE SPEAKER SCREEN. THERE ARE TWO SCREWS YOU NEED TO REMOVE. ADJUST JUST THE MIDDLE BOTTOM SLOWLY. IT SHOULD CLEAR YOUR PICTURE. IF IT DOES NOT WORK IT MAYBE YOUR GREEN CRT. THIS TV IS GARBAGE. IM TRYING TO GET 100 PEOPLE CALL SONY APRIL 17,2008 AND GTHEN SEND TGHEM A LETTER AND AFTER CONTACT YOU LOCAL MEDIA FOR THIS DEFECT. SONY HAS TO PAY YOU BACK OR REPLACE THIS TV.
