Blank screen everything on my camera is working properly, EXCEPT i can not view any photos i take. i just used it yesterday and it was fine, but today when i review a photo it is a black blank screen! i can view all previous photos on the card but nothing new. HELP

please check that your camera has a properly working Sd card. If the SD card is potentially damaged, then you would not be able to view the damaged contents on the camera. Please take a few test photos and see if the display photos returns. If not, then it might be time for a factory reset.

Sounds like the CCD or a stuck shutter blade. Try this place: www.CamerasAndParts.com They only service Canons and they are the only place we recommend for the Canons. It's all they work on and they are about half the price of most shops, plus the work is just excellent through them.

Either the LCD screen is cracked or defective in some other manner. It's possible the LCD works but just the backlight is out as well. Either way, the camera needs to be opened and the LCD checked out.

The Olympus "Tough" and "SW" cameras are FAR FROM being either "Tough" or "S"hock and "W"aterproof. I have seen dozens and dozens of them with cracked glass over the LCD and destroyed by water damage. Sounds like something got inside your camera or it was badly dropped.

i have same problem

The same thing happened to my Sony DSC-T70 today after I dropped it. White screen with green vertical lines. Need help!

I had the same problem ...I bought a new 2 GB SD card put it in the camera and it worked fine.

It may have had something to do with formatting ..I tried to format the other card wiyh my computer when the video camera would stay on.
I tried to reset the camera that didn't work either.
The new SD Card did work.

No solution for your first problem but it's normal that you cannot view your photo on the LCD screen before actually taking it. Due to the way a reflex camera is built, you can't have a live view on your LCD. The Fuji S3 Pro has this type of preview as also most recent camera (Nikon D300, Canon 40D...).

See if you can display pictures in playback mode. If you can then it is probably the CCD sensor that is faulty ( either no image at all or heavily distorted pictures on you led screen in capture mode. camera should be repaired free of charge if it is the CCD block since properly manufactured one lasts 15 + years.
