Check any antivirus software is not preventing it to open
or any proxy server set on your computer
or any entry in host file may be added to block your yahoo

have you tried clearing your private data in the browser, just go to tools at the top of your browser click for option then go to privacy check on clear private data, restart your browser then log onto yahoo website and check.

You could try going to your Tool Bar and choosing Internet Options. Then change whatever address is in your homepage box to www.yahoo.com and restart your computers. It may allow yahoo to work. good luck!
