Mitsubishi rear projection tv, model WS-48311 - Lost audio after moving tv and re-hooking up cables. How do I get it back?

It sounds like this TV is being used only for the PS3. We'll need to troubleshoot this through a process of elimination.

If you're using Component Input 1 and audio, try using Component Input 2 and audio instead. If this set of inputs provides working audio and video - you can stop. Or, try going back to Input 1 once more. If Input 1 now works - you may have simply made a better connection. If it doesn't - then there's probably an issue with input 1 on the TV.

If moving to Input 2 above still didn't solve the problem, you should try using a different set of audio cables between the HDFury and the TV. If it now works, the original audio cables are faulty.

You can check the HDfury setup on another HDTV with component inputs with it connected to an HDMI cable. if the HDFury wors, you know the device and all the cables work. If you do this test and it works with your PS3, then you know that the PS3 is providing good video and audio signals via HDMI. If the problem follows the PS3 - then it's the PS3 at fault. If everything works perfectly on the second TV, then there is some issue with the audio amplifier / inputs / speakers of the Mitsu TV. You could get a cheapo stereo amp and speakers - or a set of computer speakers for audio - it all depends on how much you want to spend for sound.

Good lcuk!

Mitsubishi VS-60805 Rear Projection won't operate in HD mode with Cable Box

Since this is an older first generation (1999) HD TV it may not be compatible with newer HDTV receivers because the standards back then were different - Make sure the HD cable box is plugged into the HD component inputs on the back of the TV (not the DVD inputs) and that the menu setting on the TV is set to DTV (not RGB) video. This TV will only accept 480i and 480p signals on the DVD input. Also the HDTV input will only accept 480i,480p and 1080i (it will not work with a 720p signal, make sure your cable box is not set to that mode)

Xbox 360 and bose surround sound no video

If your TV is HD, you should definitely be connecting the component video cables (green, blue and red) from the 360 to the TV (the 321 will not do video pass-thru from component cables). -Make sure you have a picture at this point. (TV switched to whichever input you connect the 360 to)
You can get an RCA extension cable for the audio portion (red and white) to connect to the 321 for audio. You could also connect an optical audio cable to the 321. An optical cable must be assigned from the system menu to work..
Let me know if this helps.

Hooking up bose 321 to my tv

I am about to go through the same process. I have a Bose 321, and am on the verge of getting a HDTV. From what I can figure, the Bose can play a dvd and input it to the HDTV via video and audio output plugs off the back of the Bose to the audio/video input jacks on the back of the new HDTV. I think individual cables will have to be run for each. They usually are red or white, sometimes green or blue. I am sure everyone has seen these in their life. The Bose 321 technology only had what was called an S-Video cable output for the best picture, which is how my current tv gets it's Bose signal, but now HDMI seems to have superceded S-Video. Therein lies an obstacle to be overcome.

HD cable question

It sounds like you dont have the right HD box. When connecting HD you will use an HDMI cable or a component cable consisting of 5 cable total 3 for video two for audio. Coax cable is not used to connect HD to your TV / Monitor.

Connecting bose 321 system to lg hd flat screen, bose receiver plays fm am ok threw speakers.tv will not play threw bose speakers.bose dvd plays sound ,but no picture

You will need a Component Video Cable
Connect the Red Green and Blue Connections from the TV to the Bose.

if your audio is coming from the TV, also connect stereo audio from the TV's audio out to the "TV" input on the bose.

if you want to hook up other devices (VCR, BluRay, etc) the video will go directly to the TV and audio will go directly to the Bose
