After doing a reset, the picture dont show up, i can only ear the sound

I would go to menu on the remote , from there to picture go down the list, if you do not find anything there to help you. Go to Support and to the E manual .

Hello, have you tried unplugging you tv for a minute, then plug it back in and try to turn it on. See if it shows and kind of display, if it does and you still can't see a picture, try doing the same with your cable box....tks....Terry

Check the game which resolution it plays very important

okay if you have a ear piece thats use on a walk man or mp3 stick it in the side if you ear sound then thats good buit if you dont there could be only two issue number 1 in the menu for sound check to see that its not on mute and speakers are on and not off also internal not external if these are all on then you may have a bad pre amp audio board that need to be replaced you will need a technician who can test to see if its getting and signal from the main board sometime the pre amp chip goes bad but this is very very unusal

Even though it is close out snd no return, it still should be covered by warranty, otherwise you will have to so some troubleshooting, but find out first from BEST BUY.

Recently, cable has gone digital. You might not be able to get a signal anymore with rabbit ears. They suggest buying a converter box. You can always try restoring factory settings...

When the TV is on, need to check the back light is on(go back side & look into through)

If the back light is on -- need to exchange the Main Board
no back light -- exchange the Power Board --- 95%
exchange the LCD panel --- 5%(inverter)

i have the same problem i was told by a repairman that samsungs are known for bad psu. and that its expensive to repair
