This may be a little late as you may have already found the answer. But most "Fantasy" spas have "Balboa" control system. They are either a heat control knob, or Up/Down arrows on the spa side control system.
If you have the know & it is all the way turned to max position, and still not hot enough, then you may well have a faulty "Temperature Sensor". Get a replacement from your local DreamMaker dealership. Easy to replace.

SOURCE: we have a dreammaker spa, how do we drain it? the

The Fantasy has a drain located in the toekick of the spa. You have to first remove the drain cap, attach a hose if you wish, spin the outer black ring counter clockwise to start the water flow, then pull the outer ring out away from the tub to increase the drain to full flow.
I understand that a screw driver is often needed to pull the outer ring out to achieve full flow. Therefore, I suggest another method. Take a garden hose and place it in front of the jet while the spa jets are on. This will force water flow thru the hose and prime the hose. Once you see water running from the other end of the hose, drop the hose in front of the spa jet into the footwell and as long as the loose end is lower than the end in the footwell, a siphon will drain the spa as fast as the spa drain will. Remember to turn off electric to the spa once you have established a siphon. You may have to bucket the last bit of water in the footwell. Goodluck.

SOURCE: breaker on the end of

I have had a few troublesome units over the year that did as you describe due to 'dew' overnight collecting around the tub and the increased moiture sent the motor of the circ pump "over the edge" iinto a grounded state. A leaking pump seal was adding to the problem. Once the seal leak along with the dew got high enough the GFI would sense the grounded condition and trip. Fixing the pump seal and drying/cleaning the motor fixed the problem every time. If you find any other leak sources around the pump you will need to fix them as well.

How do I get my fantasy spa out of ec mode and into st mode

Try:
  • Push either up or down arrow to make the display show "Set" temperature
  • Then push "Mode" or "Light" button.
  • This will toggle the filtration/heating settings between Ec, St, and Slp.
    • You will have to do the above each time to go to next Mode.
  • If the above does not work, then try pushing the Jets button instead of Mode/Light button.

Tempature keeps dropping down to 59 will not hold it temp at 101

If your spa will not maintain the temperature it is set at, the most common problem is going to be the temp sensor.
Once you replace the temp sensor you should find your temperature regulated as it normally is.

Depending on which control system your Colman has:
Try these:
Press & Hold the JET Button for 6 seconds (Most/Gecko & Hydro-Quip)
or
Hold temperature UP & DOWN together for 6 seconds.
or
Balboa 7 button controls, both buttons to the left of the display screen & down temperature.
or
One of the buttons might be stuck in the down position.

Hope that helps

Cannot get temperature buttons on hot tub to change

Hi,
Do the other buttons work? Is the control panel locked, some spas have a control panel lock to prevent kids from playing with the temperature. Are any of the buttons stuck in the de-pressed/down position? If neither the problem is likely in your topside control which means it will need to be replaced.

Light keeps flashing in spa

Sounds like control panel failure or the keypad is locked/stuck.

Try hold temperature UP & DOWN together for 6 seconds.
or if you have a Balboa 7 button controls, both buttons to the left of the display screen & down temperature.

As your lights are flashing the button might be stuck in the down position.

My pacific hot tub has LOC on the display and i cant adjust the jets or temp. Is the display locked and how do i unlock it?

Mike,

Yes LOC is a standard topside lock code.

Try these common unlock codes,

Press & Hold Jet Button for 6 seconds
or
Press & Hold Temp Up & Temp down for 6 seconds.

Possibly your jet button is faulty i.e. it is broken internally or when it is pressed the button sticks in the on position and locks out the panel.

If those common codes don't work let me know which brand/topside control your spa has and I will get a more specific answer.
