Because there are a lot of questions about resizing watch bands, I thought I'd add a tip how to do it. Roughly two types of links are used with Casio watches, so I've added two how-to video's:
With the watch on your wrist, check to see how many links need to be removed from your watch. Your watch should fit comfortably on your wrist. Remove the extra links with your paper clip or push pin.To remove the links from your watch, press on the small pins with your tool that are holding the links in place. The watch band should now separate allowing the pin to become free, and you can now remove the pins first and then the links one at a time until you have removed the desired amount of links. Reattach the watch band when you are done removing the links. To reattach the watch band to your watch, simply fit the end links into each other. To complete the resizing, use your push pin to re-insert a joining pin.
The arrows show you the direction to push out the pins.
Look for an arrow on the inside of your watch band. The direction the arrow is pointing is the direction the pin should slide out of the band. If your pin is screwed in, you may not see an arrow on the inside of your band.

Look on the edge of the watch band for a small round object, the pin. If the pin head is flat, then it needs to be pushed out. If the pin head has a screw driver groove, then it needs to be screwed out. Depending on the type of watch pin you have, take a sharp pointed tool or a tiny screw driver from a hobby kit or watch tool kit and place it on the head of the pin. You should be looking at the end of the pin on the opposite side from where the arrow is pointing.

Push on the sharp tool to push the pin out of the watch band. You will need to use force to push the pin out. If your pin is screwed in, gently unscrew the pin until it becomes loose. Remove the pin with your fingertips. Make sure to put the pin in a safe place, because you will need it again when resizing the watch band.
Could be a number of different ways. Some newer watches have multiple clasps that make it easier for you to adjust it yourself. Check the bottom of the band for extra clasps.
Without seeing the watch I have no idea what type of links you have. I suggest taking it to a reputable watch repair shop and have them adjust it for you! It will save you the frustration of having to search for a small screw or pin if it should fall on the floor!
This band requires a pair of band pliers to pull out a U shaped tab that connect the two links. Sometimes you can get a small screw driver in to start the tab coming out and pull it the rest of the way out with a pair of pliers. The tab is located in the middle. You'll note that, if you look at the side of the band, there are three layers of metal. The tab is in the middle and slides out. If you look at the inside of the band, the side that would be on your wrist, you will see the slot that the watch plier would fit into to start sliding the tab out. * I do not recommend this repair for the layperson. I suggest seeing a watch maker/technician.
I saw on other pictures on the web that the links have small holes at the side. There should be some links with arrows r another marking. These are usually the links that can be removed to shorten the strap.
If there is a small arrow on the link, it means that you can push out the pin inside the hole in the direction of the arrow. Then the link can be detached. You can push it out with a blunt sewing needle (break off the tip).
Remove links on both sides of the watch when resizing it.
