Have you looked at the syncing options in Itunes? perhaps you have not selected syncing for apps and photos. Select the phone in iTunes and look your sync options.

How to download music on a iphone 3g?

there are several ways you can download and put music on your iPhone 3G

1.-Purchase songs in iTunes directly on your iPhone (this will cost you money and require you to create an iTunes account,if you download apps, you already have one).

2.-Insert a CD into the computer you plug your iPhone to, open the CD with iTunes, and rip the contents of the disc into iTunes (iTunes has a tutorial for this if you need further information), sync your phone with your iTunes on the computer and the songs will be added to your song library in your phone.

3.-You can use a P2P (peer to peer) sharing program ex. Frostwire, Winamp, eMule, to download the songs onto your computer. Take note of what folder these downloaded songs are being sent to. In iTunes, select File>add folder to library, a window will open, select the file where the downloaded music is located, and iTunes will add it into the music library in iTunes. Sync your phone with iTunes and the downloaded songs will be added to the music library on your phone

Hi\r\nI have a question, my iphone version is 3.1.2 and when i connect it to my itunes(9.0.3) it doesnt sync anything except my contacts. By the way i can delete apps & music from iphone by itunes but...

You probably did not choose what all to sync. Click Music then check the box "sync music" then choose all songs and playlists. Click on tabs of stuff you wanna sync and make sure the boxes are checked(apps, videos etc.,). And then try syncing again. Let me know if problem persists so that I can assist you further.

No problem. i just want an basic instruction manual for my iphone 3g,

Basic Information- You can call, join up many people while on the phone app, iPod plays music, videos, and displays photos. You could jailbreak it, like run 3rd party apps like snes4iphone and so on. Use spirit to do it. Back to basics. You can download photos from the web using Safari app, Check E-Mail, SMS Text, Camera to take photos, calender for dates, time, plans. Notes for taking notes. Clock for time zones, weather to check weather, calculator to add, subtract, multiply, iTunes to download music without computer, App Store to download apps directly without computer, Stocks for economy, and so on...

Reload apps after restoring

The apps can be reinstalled only from the pc, to which you iphone was hooked up for the first time. I had same issues - had both at home and at work. So from that pc at work, i could not sync the apps. But then - try to log on to your app store account - at least it might let you sync those apps from iTunes :)

Got unlocked iphone, tried to restore factory settings now its stuck on bitten pineapple...any help plz just got this phone?

Hi,
Here u can follow the steps

Step 1: Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of iTunes if you haven’t already. Download iTunes 8.2 from the link given below.
Step 2: Now connect your iPhone with your PC. You must connect it to a single usb port on the backside of your computer. Do not use any usb hub or the ports in the front as this could cause an error during update process.
Step 3: Start iTunes 8.2. Sync your iPhone with your PC so that iTunes backs-up all your important data including settings, apps, music, contacts and photos.
Step 4: You will now have to download a custom cooked firmware for your iPhone version (2G or 3G). I can’t post the download links for these files for the reasons you all know very well. Just Google “iPhone 2G Custom 3.0” (If you are using iPhone 2G) or “iPhone 3G Custom 3.0” (If you are using iPhone 3G) and use one of the torrent links to download the custom created .ipsw file.
Step 5: Once you have downloaded the required .ipsw file, Copy/Paste it into this location:
“C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates\” (Windows 7)
“C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates\” (Windows Vista)
“C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Update\” (Windows XP)
Step 6: Restart iTunes. You will now be prompted to install this firmware you just download. Just close this prompt dialog by clicking on “x” from the top right-most corner of the window.

Step 7: Now you will have to restore your iPhone to this custom firmware 3.0 that you just downloaded. Click on your phone from the sidebar in iTunes to get to this screen as shown in the screenshot below:
capture2_thumb.png
Now press and hold left “Shift” button on the keyboard and then click on “Restore” (Not “Update) button in the iTunes and then release the “Shift” button.

This will make iTunes prompt you to select the location for your downloaded custom firmware 3.0. Select the downloaded .ipsw file and click on “Open”.
Step 8: Now sit back and enjoy as iTunes does the rest for you. This will involve a series of automated steps some of which are highlighted below:
asd.pngafasf.pngggg.png
Don’t do anything silly at this point. Just wait while iTunes installs the new firmware 3.0 on your iPhone. Your iPhone screen at this point will be showing a progress bar indicating installation progress. After the installation is done, iPhone will restart automatically and you should now have a fully unlocked and jailbroken iPhone 2G. iPhone 3G on the hand will only be jailbroken, not unlocked. iPhone 3G users will have to wait for Dev-Team to release ultrasn0w on Cydia in order to unlock their phones.
Step 9: Once you are done with the unlocking and jailbreak process. You can now restore all your settings, apps, music, contacts and photos to the newly installed firmware version 3.0 by restoring the backup that you made in Step 3 from iTunes.

Feel free to ask me any question here should you run into any problem during the update process.
