If you've set up automatic syncing, iTunes syncs your device by default whenever you connect your iPod, iPhone, or iPad to your computer. If you don't want iTunes to sync your device without being prompted, you can change this setting. You can prevent unprompted syncing for any specific iPod, iPhone, or iPad; or for all iPod, iPhone, or iPad devices you connect to your computer. Connect your iPod, iPhone, or iPad to your computer. In iTunes, select your device (below Devices). Click Summary, and then deselect "Open iTunes when this Device is connected." In iTunes, choose Edit > Preferences. Click Devices. Select "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically." If this checkbox is selected, any connected iPod, iPhone, or iPad won't sync without being prompted. To sync your iPod, iPhone, or iPad when unprompted syncing is disabled, connect your iPod, iPhone, or iPad to your computer, and then choose File > Sync "Device Name" in iTunes, or click your device (below Devices) and then click Sync. For more information, see the iPod, iPhone, or iPad User Guide or the Apple Support website. To prevent unprompted syncing for a specific iPod, iPhone, or iPad:

most of the SE phone have two types of contact saving
1- in phone memory
2- in SIM card memory
if u have contacts saved in SIM memory but u r using
phonebook memory then it is default
if u save any contact in phone memory u have an option too
to copy it to SIM memory
for deleting a contact it will behave like this:
for example, u have a contact saved in phone memory
as well as in SIM memory
if u delete this contact, then it will be deleted from phone
memory but not from SIM memory
and when u are called from same number
(which is not present in Phone memory but is in SIM)
it displays the name again

I had a similar problem just now. I fixed it by doing the following:
1. In the Blackberry Desktop manager, click the Synchronize link
2. Click the Configuration tab
3. Click Configure synch...
4. Double click the Contacts transfer (Device<--Outlook)
5. Make sure you have "Replace destination data" selected
6. Then perform the synchronization again.
Note, I am writing this from memory, not by looking at the computer step by step, so some of the wording for the screen instructions may be paraphrased.

SOURCE: Can't delete the recent messages log on the LG CU920
Go into a new text message and hit the "send to" option. Scroll down to the first name above the line and hit the "options" button. Scroll down and select "Recent messages" and choose whoever from that list that you'd like to be your top 3. I actually just sent all three of mine a blank text, but when I went back to the "send to" list voila! MORE INFO: I tried all kinds of things to remove names from my top three recipients list. What ended up working was to send a text to multiple recipients at once. Two was enough. But it was important who I selected first. I sent a message to my wife and my friend. My wife's name got added back to my top three! Then I reversed and sent a message to my friend and to my wife. His name got added back!
SOURCE: How do I delete the names in my contacts list?
just delete the name and save it blank dont put anything in it and save it try that.

Unfortunately the only way to get rid of the recent list is to do a manufacturer reset on your device (menu>settings>more>security>erase/reset>reset phone)
